Flagstaff in July

  • 3 of 5

Very nice location! Very clean! Only problem was no AC - don't recommend in July. Also they had just paved parking lot across the street and smell of asphalt was terrible! I realized totally out of owners control, but had to make a choice - close windows because of smell and be hot or open windows and smell asphalt and be cooler!

Great property and location

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed our stay at the Terrace Cottage. The property was clean and inviting and the location to downtown was great. We stayed over the July 4th weekend (2016) and we easily walked to the July 4th parade and restaurants downtown. The home was good size for a family of four so there was plenty of room for all of us. The price of staying here over the holiday weekend was much better than staying at a hotel. The hotel prices were crazy that weekend. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a bit more freedom than the hustle and noise of a busy hotel and trying to find a hotel parking space. The neighborhood was very quiet as well as the immediate neighbors. A small draw back was the location to the train tracks so there was a bit of disturbance since the trains run often, but if you don't mind a little of that then it's no big deal.

Nice house, good location

  • 4 of 5

The living/kitchen/dining areas of the house are great! Really nicely done with good furniture and amenities. We really enjoyed that. Movies, games, books...kitchen fully loaded, what more could you need. The bedrooms & bathroom are a little less elaborate - but who cares?! The bathroom is old but very clean and we loved the huge countertop in there - room for everything! The house was really close to downtown, easy downhill walk. The only downside for us was the hot weather while there and with no air conditioning it was a bit warm in the house (but really...when does 93 degrees in Flagstaff happen...never!) Also if you are a light sleeper know that you can hear the train rolling through town from the front (King) bedroom during the night quite a bit with the windows open. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Would love to be there in the winter with the fireplace rolling!

Very relaxing stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time renting this home and both times were wonderful! The home is spacious for our family of 5 and the location is incredible. We were able to walk to downtown very easily, it's a short 5 minute walk and you are in the heart of downtown. We will definitely rent this home again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, conveniently located rental. Thanks for sharing your home.

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a terrific stay over the New Year's holiday. While the temps outside were very cold (8 degrees at times) we stayed nice and cozy in the cottage. The wood burning stove was a nice amenity to have. Beds were very very comfortable and the cottage was well equipped.

All in all very enjoyable and we would definitely do it again!
