Experience KaMilo at its finest! Enter through the luxurious front entrance to KaMilo 301 and you are immediately taken in by the sense of serenity and lushness of your surroundings, as your gaze is directed towards the 25-foot pocket doors that open up the main lanai to the interior. Once you set foot on the lanai, the 270 degree golf course view with ocean and mountain views in the distance assure you that you have indeed arrived in paradise. So come in, and relax with a tropical drink as you take the tour through what will be your home for the duration of your Big Island Getaway!

The main level of the split level home features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large kitchen island with bar seating, and a connected dining area with seating for 6. The living room boasts a 55-inch LED LCD flatscreen TV hooked up to surround sound speakers for a better viewing experience. The main level lanai has additional seating, as well as a BBQ grill for those nights when you want to cook up some fresh island fish from the Kawaihae Fish Market, or perhaps some grass-fed Big Island steaks!

A guest bedroom located on the main level is perfect for those who don't handle stairs so well, and with access to the full bathroom with walk-in shower also on the main level, they're all set.

Going down the stairs, you arrive at the family room/den, with another flatscreen TV, and a luxury pullout Tempur-Pedic sofabed for additional guests. You can access the pool deck from here, where the 'spool' awaits. A combination spa and pool, this unique water feature is the perfect complement to your tropical vacation, with a jetted seating area and a fountain.

The master bedroom features a Cal-king sized Tempur-Pedic bed with matching end tables and dresser, high ceilings, and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub which looks out to the golf course, and a walk-in shower, as well as a separate toilet, dual sinks, and a large walk-in closet.

A third bedroom towards the back also boasts a Cal-king Tempur-Pedic bed, and features a private lanai with a sitting area, just right for reading the paper in the morning with a cup of Kona coffee. An adjoining full bathroom with a tub/shower combo services this bedroom as well as the downstairs den.

A quality property with only a few hiccups making it actually 4 1/2 stars. The house itself is very attractive with an ideal location in Kamilo. Being on the corner makes it private and gives it a lovely view over the golf course. Loved that we could hear the ocean. Comfortably furnished inside and out. Enjoyed sitting on the upper deck in the morning and at sunset. The pool was small but refreshing. We wondered if the owner has a cat as the end of the main floor sofa is badly scratched and in need of repair or replacement. That said, we just covered it with a throw and a pillow and that did the trick! Lots of towels including plenty for the pool and beach. A good selection of toys in the garage - pool noodles, snorkel gear, 2 bikes, beach chairs, cooler etc. Even 2 stand up paddleboards but we couldn't figure how to get them to the water. We would have appreciated a few basic cleaning supplies (which we've found in other vrbo properties). Will we consider a return to this property? Definitely!

Broken barbecue but mgr told me it was fine

Nice place but the barbecue did not work and they told me it was fine. They need to put a new one in at this price. I had a lot of good that I could not cook.

Perfect for multi-generational stay

The wide open floor plan made this truly beautiful 2500 sq ft home feel even bigger. Grandparents took the upper bedroom and bath, parents took the two downstairs bedrooms, and the kids used the lower family room for sleeping, play, and their own TV shows. We took advantage of everything: the small private pool, the spacious HOA pool, the Beach Club, the park by the petroglyphs, and the beach at the Fairmount Orchid. Everything was as advertised, and the managers were the best we have ever worked with, providing quick answers and help. This house juts out beyond neighboring homes, providing more privacy than one might expect, and giving views of both the 8th green and 11th tee on the north course. There is a sliver of ocean view from the lanai.

Do be aware that walking to the beach would be hard for young kids, and the house pool is very small. It worked perfectly for our needs.

Well maintained house in a good, quiet area

Great place for a relaxing vacation/break. Nice 3 bed and bath property overlooking a golf course. Quiet, safe area. You need a car to get around the area. We also hired a golf cart for $100 for the week. The house is well furnished and nicely maintained. We booked over the internet and had an immediate response from the manager. All questions were answered promptly. There are several shops and restaurants in the area. Nice beach club. The property is very conveniently located and has all amenities and facilities. We enjoyed our stay!

Vacation for 2 or more- Awesome

This property is absolutely one of the best places we've stayed it. The view of the mountains and golf course is beautiful. The area is quite and relaxing, but your not far from amenities. The closeness to the hotels and beach is the best. The home is very well decorated and very clean. Close to just about anything adventurous you might want to do or just to sit around and relax enjoying the perfect weather. Romantic spot, private pool. We really enjoyed eating a Tommy Bahamas and the Owners beach club. We will Definitely be back to this home.

This is a beautiful home! My boyfriend and I stayed there for 9 days late March. It is a great layout. Beautiful views of the golf course, quiet, romantic & perfect weather every day!!

I love that you are so close to so many different things. Golfing,shopping,the ocean,great restaurants, etc. I also love that you can take a golf cart all around!

Really just a beautiful area and I'm looking forward to taking my 4 children back here in May!!
