Wonderful Napa Experience!
3 couples visiting the area for a wedding at one of the wineries and the house was perfect for our stay! The location is about 10 min from downtown Calistoga, 15 min from local wineries and about 30min from Napa Valley - super convenient! The house was very quaint and quiet, right in the middle of the forest! The space was great and exactly as pictured. Barbara was an excellent communicator which made everything easier. Such a wonderful stay!! Thank you!!!! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Napa!!!!!
Charming house for a wine country stay!
We stayed 3 nights for a family wedding in Calistoga. Bedrooms were super cozy with really nice linens (important to me!). The kitchen was nicely appointed -nice appliances, dishes, glasses etc. No cable but plenty of dvds and we didn’t have much time for TV! Location was very convenient to Calistoga. Would totally book again-perfect place for 3 couples!
Great place to get away and "unplug"
Seriously unplug! NO cell service. No Cable service. Very poor Wifi (we did discover it improved if you stood very still).
AC didn't work which made for hot evenings. I was a little spooked to leave my doors open in the woods for a breeze. The place itself is outdated, but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed except for a pasta pot. There was coffee for our first morning which was fabulous!
Given the distance from wineries and limited, to no technology avail, not the place for us. Perfectly fine if you want a rustic getaway to do a little hiking.
We appreciate guest reviews of our rental property and we take great pride in providing exceptional service to all of our guests. If a guest is having any difficulty, we would expect them to bring it to our attention, so that we can address the issue during their stay. The VRBO site lists the amenities of the property. Cell service in a rural area can be spotty, depending upon the carrier. We try to mitigate this by providing a landline onsite. We hope to have addressed the concerns with this posting.
We were a group of five girls that stayed in the Petrified Forest Home and it was so beautiful! We all fit comfortably and enjoyed how bright the property was, as well as how close it was to wineries and to Calistoga. We will definitely be back again!
Great cozy, clean property, wonderful space, light and location. Thank you
Great and Thank You!
Only one thought for the future. For short stays, it would be nice to have complimentary coffee available. Not necessary, but a great touch. We would definitely stay again.
Located in the spectacular wine country of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys featuring world renown wineries, restaurants, spas and outdoor activities.
