Cottage With Private Pool Near Marvão

I have been a fan of Portugal for over 25 years so maybe I am a little bit biased. A love affair that started with the usual holidays in the Algarve has grown to take in Lisbon and Porto, the Silver Coast and then.... this little piece of heaven. Nothing can begin to describe how beautiful and relaxing this place is. If you want to totally unwind in an area away from tourist crowds, in amazing countryside then this is the place for you. This is Portugal at it's best. Beautiful scenery, fantastic walks, amazing food. And all that before coming home to Casa dos Galegos. Daniel is the perfect host. Rightfully proud of this beautiful area and he has created the perfect base for people to enjoy it. From the moment you arrive, and Daniel pops up with the welcome basket of (still warm bread and wine) you feel instantly at home with good neighbours. The house is gorgeous, the pool is the perfect place to relax listening to the sheep ambling through the fields with their bells ringing in the distance. The friendly welcome also includes Daniel's cats, who are more than happy to join you for a cuddle as you sit on the terrace taking in the beautiful views. This is the kind of place you will wish you could stay forever. Once you have visited this place, you will want to come back again and again.
