Beautiful ocean view condo (Hali'i Kai unit 16C) in Waikoloa Beach Resort. Hali'i Kai is one of only two oceanfront properties in Wailkoloa Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Hali'i Kai has the best amenitites at the Ocean Club with its multi-tiered resort style pool with aqua longers. Guests love the oceanside cafe and bar at poolside that continually pleases...serving Hawaiian and Asian-Pacific style cuisine and exotic tropical drinks.

Our unit is a ground floor unit. Easily accessible and just a few steps from the Ocean Club.

We have designer furnishings, stainless steel Sub Zero refrigerator, Wolfe stove and cook top, Fisher-Paykel dual dish drawer dishwasher, and granite countertops in the kitchen and each of the two full bathrooms.

The living room and each bedroom have ceiling fans and flat screen HDTV's and DVD players. The covered lanai has a ceiling fan, wet bar and refrigerator.

There is a resort fee of $10 per day per unit that is paid to the on-site office upon check in.

About Laura Lee Verlinde

We are Ray and Laura Lee and have been married 27 years. We have two sons that are avid hockey players. Raised in Michigan, we have been in Colorado for 11 years and share our time between Denver and our home in the Vail Valley. Ray is an avid triathlete, enjoys climbing 14 footers and competing in Ironmans. Together we enjoy cycling, cooking, traveling and time with family and friends. We feel so blessed and would love to share our tropical getaway with you.

The perfect Hawaiian vacation

Everything you could want or need is available in this unit and complex. We travelled with our 11 month old baby and in laws, and had a wonderful vacation. The owners have thought of every detail from cooking supplies to entertainment. This ground floor unit has a lovely west facing lanai leading to a large lawn, which was ideal for playing with our daughter, heading over to the pool and restaurant, and watching the sunsets. The pool was delightful. We met many friendly people and families there. We loved the live music and ate several really good meals in the restaurant. We're already planning our return trip! First time on the Big Island....lovely condo, with close access to a beautiful pool and hot tub and fitness area. No beach access, so had to drive to beaches - which is common on the Big Island. Helpful managers on site. Owners very friendly via VRBO email.

What more can we say ?

Reading through all of the other reviews, I can add nothing else. This unit is a spoiler , Nothing else will compare to it if we looked for something else. Perfect in all respects. We arrived late at night and had troubles finding the unit. I wish I had printed off a map of the complex before leaving . Anyway , found it , and woke up to a beautiful view. Yes, this unit has everything and is equipped with all that I would have in my own vacation property. We are still here, but I wanted to get the review in before I forgot anything. We have scoped out several beaches, and have toured around the island. We have been to Maui several times , and two years ago , we were in Kauai . Within two days, I was certain I wanted to come back to this island, it has quickly become my favourite. I am a rock person, so of course, love the lava formations ! Fascinating. If you are so inclined, save up your pennies and take the helicopter ride . Love love loved it ! We are not big restaurant people, and have learned how to use the Cusinart Griddler . Excellent ! Take it outside and use on the countertop out there . Everything a BBQ can do for you and more . Easy to clean. At some point , I might consider buying one myself . Thanks Laura Lee and Ray, we WILL be back !

Excellent vacation condo

Our stay at Hali'i Kai 16C was wonderful. The condo is extremely well equipped, clean and well maintained with everything we could have needed. There is a beautiful ocean view from the patio with the oceanfront pool and beach club a short stroll away. The owners were very responsive making the booking process simple and the onsite staff were excellent. It was very easy to travel and explore the island from this location.

Amazing ocean views!

Our stay at this property in Hali I Kai was wonderful. We have been staying at Hali I Kai for several years and have always enjoyed our stay. This unit was very clean, had so many extras and lots of accessories for kids. We have an 11 month old and did not have to bring anything as this unit was equipped with a pack and play, bumbo seat for feeding and plenty of beach accessories! I loved that the lanai had super comfortable furniture and amazing views of the ocean, it made our morning coffee that much more enjoyable. I would absolutely rent this unit again and would highly recommend it to anyone else!

Wonderful condo!

What a perfect spot! This condo is clean, updated and luxurious with everything you need. It is just a few steps from the pool, gym and restaurant in the complex, its a nice stroll to the Hilton and a few minutes drive from Queen/King shops and beaches. The house is stocked with beach toys, kid's stuff, towels, woven mats, etc. The lanai is wonderful and perfect for facing the sunset and opens to a large grass area. We had a small social gathering and it was absolutely perfect. We will definitely consider booking again!
