Such a great location to have a vacation in San Francisco.
Enjoy the Neighborhood, enjoy the City, enjoy the Park!
Enjoy the Neighborhood!
You will love Haight Street, just wander there along its cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, gourmet groceries, thrift shops. It is so lively, definitely touristic and yet real, authentic with a genuine San Franciscan atmosphere. On the other side, you’ll have a croissant at La Boulange, make a stop at Pharmaca, share a lunch at Zazie and indulge yourself at Burger Meister… and then you’ll jump aboard the N-Judah…
Enjoy the City!
… the N-Judah that will bring you to Downtown, Union Square in 10 mins. You can also grab a bus. The 33 at Ashbury and Frederick (just 2 blocks away) will head to the gorgeous Dolores Park. Enjoy the view, take a walk to Castro or spend a day in the Mission.
Enjoy the Park!
Simply walk to our beloved Golden Gate Park. There, make a stop at our favorite spot, the Conservatory of Flowers, head further to the De Young Museum, climb on top of the tower, get down to the Academy of Sciences, sip a tea at the Japanese garden, daydream at the Botanical garden… You can also rent a bike, cross the park and reach Ocean Beach. Pure delight!
Whether you are a family or a group of friends, the apartment offers a wide and convenient space that allows privacy.
There are 2 large bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one with an additional twin bed. In between both bedrooms lays a wide living room: the TV is set up with Apple TV system and a DVD player, the sofa can be converted in a comfortable queen bed. Eat-in kitchen is directly connected with the living room and well equipped: take a walk to the groceries on Haight or Cole and have a dinner as if you were at home.
WiFi is available.
There is also a washer – dryer down the outdoor kitchen stairs, shared with the other renters.
The apartment has been recently totally furnished with design furniture and we tried to add nice details to make it cozy, comfortable, welcoming and warm.
Right between the lively Haight Street and the quiet Cole Street with all their cafes, restaurants, stores...
Centrally (10 mns to Downtown) and conveniently located in a so desirable neighborhood. The tiny details (angels, moldings...) as well as the high ceilings, contribute to the inner charm of the place.
Nathalie is great- incredibly accommodating and helpful! This apartment is awesome- super clean and comfortable. Really cute neighborhood. Close to parks that you can explore. It is also close to several grocery stores and coffee places. My only tip is make sure you are familiar with the n-Judah system and have a card loaded before you leave the central station otherwise uber fees add up to and from downtown areas.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and well-appointed. The house is just a block or two away from Muni and the shops on Cole Street. The hostess was extremely gracious and accommodating. We recommend staying here.
I had friends in town for a birthday celebration and needed to find a place for them to stay. This home is perfectly located with a lovely, calmness. The group enjoyed their stay, found the place to be comfortable and easy to stay in. If you're a family visiting San Francisco, or a low impact group staying together, this is the perfect place. The owner was easy to reach and work with and provided excellent service.
The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The owner was kind enough to provide us with a pacnplay for our one year old and very responsive to any questions we had. It's tastefully decorated and a great location. We will definitely stay here again if back in SF.
This was our third Cole Valley VRBO over the X-mas break and it was very nice and well maintained. The owner did some nice upgrades to the bathrooms and kitchen and prepared a nice binder of FAQ's from everything on how to use the TV to where to take the garbage at the end of the stay. Having a driveway to park in front was nice, too. My wife and I slept in the back BR which was really chilly (which is expected in SF). The heating system was programmed to lower the thermostat to 68F after a couple of hours so the heater wouldn't run continuously if not home. However the thermostat is in the warm hallway near the kitchen so 68F out there was like 58F in the back BR. Every couple hours one of us had to get up and re-start the heater. Maybe deactivate the set-back setting between midnight and 8am would fix that? Besides that, it was a wonderful place to spend the week after X-mas and Uber around the City.
We stayed here for four days and the apartment was great. Nathalie was a warm and welcoming host and helped us out greatly especially with the crib which was provided for our daughter. We had four adults and a baby staying in the apartment and it worked out wonderfully with the two bathrooms and two large bedrooms.
The location was perfect for our requirements with it being in a quiet location but still close enough to all the major attractions either by walking or the nearby public transport. Cole Valley has lots of amazing little restaurants, Haight Ashbury is a must-see for anyone staying in the city, and Golden Gate park (the pan handle) are all within just a few blocks of this property.
Take my advice, stay away from the tourist traps of Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square and stay in this neighbourhood. As a former SF resident, I can say that this property will give you a much more authentic experience of life in the city.
