If you're searching for a hip place to stay in Toronto for a totally reasonable price, there's no point on looking any further. This condo well exceeded our expectations, along with the awesome experience of working with Marjory, Cliff, and the rest of the super helpful and friendly staff. This condo is GORGEOUS - everything about it is new and chic, making my husband and I feel totally "city" every second :) The location is amazing, not right downtown, but on one of the main streets that will easily take you anywhere you want to go. We opted to not drive around the city (there is a reserved parking spot in their lower garage that we just left our car at all week) and instead walked, took ubers, and did the hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus (which there is a pick-up for literally right outside the condo). The subway is also right next door and will take you all over, but we never ended up using it. Among the hundreds of little shops and eateries, just feet away is "Signs" a restaurant with all deaf servers and chefs, which is definitely a dining experience you don't want to miss! But the greatest part of the stay was the use of their patio - it's huge and inviting, and we just sat out there every chance we got. Meals, and people watching, and reading, and tanning - if we were at "home" we were out there :) It provides amazing views at night, and the sounds of the city while you're relaxing is just so cool. The only thing I'd suggest is that while the apartment itself gets cold very quickly with the AC on, the bedroom doesn't get as much air flow, so maybe bring a small fan if you're a warm sleeper like us :) We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, bustling city experience while also enjoying a romantic and chic getaway. Thank you so much to Marjory and Cliff for making our first visit to Toronto (and Canada!) one we will never forget! :)
When my husband and i were searching for hotel suites to stay in for the week of our wedding in Toronto, we found the prices to be astronomical for rooms that didn't even look that great. That's when we turned to HomeAway and found the "Class Act" apartment. For a better price, we could get this whole beautiful apartment and amazing patio! Yes please!
We couldn't have had a better stay. The apt is completely true to its photos - even nicer in person actually. It was very clean, comfortable & convenient - close to so many great restaurants & bars.
With all the 'hecticness' of the wedding, it was like our own little oasis to be able to just sit out on the patio with a glass of wine and relax :)
One of the main things I worry about with apartment rentals is the shower pressure - and this shower was AMAZING! So if you're a water-pressure worrier like me - I assure you there's nothing to worry about here! And the towels and all other linens provided here are lush too :)
Another benefit is that the building staff here were SO nice - very friendly. That's just a perk that makes your stay even nicer.
There was also a ton of closet & dresser space with plenty of hangers - which for us trying to organize our outfits and everything for the week of our celebrations was just wonderful and made life so easy :)
Cliff was so kind to us too -we had some unique questions and needs for our stay and he really worked with us to accommodate. It's so very appreciated when the people you work with for your rental are kind and decent people and Cliff really made our experience wonderful.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Toronto :)
5 star condo. Immaculate, comfortable and well located. Nicer than photos.
Not a bad thing to say. The location, the cleanliness, the style of the apt were all home runs! I almost forgot about waking up to the smell of Starbucks every morning, who wouldn't want that. We would highly recommend this rental. Marjory and Cliff were great to work with. We can't wait to return. Thanks again for sharing your great property!
We just finished up our second stay at this condo, and we love it just as much the first time around. The location is perfect, just a few paces from the Wellesley subway station. And the space is great for us -- comfortable bed, nice kitchen (we make breakfast in the morning before heading out for our day), comfortable living room, and a great outdoor patio where we hang out at the end of the day with a glass of port. For long stays, there is a convenient washer & dryer combo. We'll be back!
Our stay at Class Act was well worth the trip. Our flight was delayed so we arrived later in the evening than planned; yet still, Janet was very accommodating in providing entry to the condo. Being greeted by concierge (always present) felt like a luxury boutique hotel when entering the building. The condo itself was very clean and came as advertised, definitely on point. The kitchen was well stocked leaving nothing to want, as well as the bed/bath linen being plentiful. We loved the convenience of the washer/dryer combo, such a plus which meant we could travel a bit lighter. We chose Toronto due to its diverse cultural attraction as a large city and found a great location to match (Yonge & Wellesley). Touring the city on foot, as well as by subway was great, especially with the subway literally being a few feet down the sidewalk from the building. We took in as many sights as possible on foot, which was great because we loved being able to walk to so many of the downtown places; so easy to navigate. Also, touring by foot was absolutely great with no problems, because we came to realize this was the way to go -- what a novel idea! The condo’s location gave us plenty of local restaurant choices, coffee houses, grocery stores and a few fast food chains thrown in for good measure. No problems with safety whatsoever and we felt very good about our surroundings whenever we ended the night coming back to a very relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful views surrounding the condo from the balcony were very appealing. Sitting on the balcony was very serene at times, but after a certain hour, the flavor can change to not so peaceful sounds, but not enough to cause any problems. One has to keep in mind that unless you’re on an island, life does exist regardless of whether or not it’s downtown or suburban – life is not dead! Many thanks to Marge and Cliff for sharing their property with us and meeting Janet at the end of our trip on our way out, priceless. The condo allowed us to enjoy the conveniences of home away from home, so choosing this condo did not leave us disappointed in any form. We would definitely stay again without a doubt!
