Flathead Lake Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath with beautiful lawn and waterfall setting

Our Vintage Cottage Rental

Charmingly restored, authentic 1920’s log cabin at the center of Bigfork Village. Park your car and walk to and from everything : world-class restaurants, live playhouse theater, renowned galleries and local nightlife. Located on Bigfork Bay in Flathead Lake, which is just minutes away. Glacier Park and the Going to the Sun highway are only 45 minutes away.

Sleeps 6. Great lawn area with waterfall. Wonderful deck with enclosed gazebo, BBQ, outdoor tables/chairs. 2-bed/2-bath. Sitting room with fold-out air-mattress queen couch. Fully stocked kitchen. Private parking for 3 cars. New 50' Hi Def wide screen TV with cable.

This is the place to stay for Bigfork's nationally recognized July 4th Parade, as it is less than a block away. And the Bigfork Festival of the Arts in August is right there. The annual Labor Day Rumble-in-the-Bay Car Show is literally parking classic cars at your doorstep.

For Thanksgiving, the Cottage is minutes away from the Bigfork Playhouse and its annual Nutcracker Ballet performances over the four-day weekend.

But the most magical time to visit Bigfork is the Christmas Holiday season. The Village goes beyond all-out in its holiday decorations to truly re-create a Norman Rockwell Christmas Village. You have horse-drawn sleigh rides going right past your doorstep! What could be more special during the holiday season!

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

We did a long weekend girls trip with 4 of us. The place was beautiful and very clean. I am 5 months pregnant and the bed was so comfy! The owners were awesome to deal with and so flexible. It is located within walking distance of restaurants and shops and a quick trip into Kalispell. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

Perfect location

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks and could not have asked for a better location to stay! This cottage is about 100 feet from the Bigfork Playhouse where we were wanting to go. Had the cast of the playhouse over where they could relax and enjoy some time away from their jobs, which was wonderful!

Amazing and beyond expectations!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 visited and found this cottage to far exceed our expectations! Our primary reason to visit Bigfork was to take in the professional summer theater at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse and explore Glacier National park and surrounding areas. This cottage is located in downtown Bigfork and only a one block walk to the theatre. We always felt safe and secure and could even hear the sounds of the Swan River nearby. We took morning walks around the bay and explored Bigfork during our week stay. This cottage / log cabin was amazing! You could see the many changes it has experienced over the years, but all with modern conveniences and kept in pristine shape! Anyone looking to visit Bigfork or the area should first try to book this location if available, you will not be disappointed!

Larger than anticipated

  • 5 of 5

This cute cottage fit our family of 6 with room to spare. I did not expect it to be so large. There were 3 bedrooms (one with a pull-out couch), a living room dining room combo plus a bonus family room. Off the family room was a nice deck and a large yard. The cottage was so close to town that we literally walked around the block a couple of times to get some exercise after dinner. Otherwise it would have been about 30 steps home. We had young children with us, and there was a nice playground down the street. The master bed was a little soft for our taste, but the other beds were firmer. One of my favorite things about the house was the automatic hot water container, which made making tea so easy.

We had a great time in Bigfork, only 45 minutes from Glacier National Park, and right on Flathead Lake.
