Rhinebeck Village Business District House Rental Photos and Description

4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8. High-speed Internet, Cable TV

Charming 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom farmhouse located in the Village of Rhinebeck.

This is best of both worlds - close enough to walk to everything with a large rear yard retreat replete with BBQ grill, picnic table, Adirondack chairs and other implements for relaxation. We will even throw in a lake view at no additional cost. That's right, a lake right here in the Village! You can enjoy the view swim or try your hand at some fresh water fishing - imagine how envious your friends will be when you tell them about the 5 inches you fought to shore...

Inside the house is light and airy. Air conditioners keep you cool in summer and baseboard heat makes for a cozy atmosphere in winter. The beds are outfitted in luxurious new sheets and bedding and the decorating is eclectic and inviting. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities and way too many juice glasses (we over ordered).

High speed internet, cable TV, board games, puzzles and linens are all provided. We can even help with grocery shopping and other services - please inquire.

This is the perfect casual getaway for family and friends whether you want to explore Rhinebeck and surrounds, or hide away for a few relaxing days.

Most dogs are allowed with prior permission.

Cars are optional, the home is walking distance to everything and taxis are readily available to bring you to and from Rhinecliff station...

Please note, the property owner does not allow gatherings of more than 20 people.

3 minute walk to downtown Rhinebeck!

  • 4 of 5

You will like the location of this cute house within a stroll of downtown Rhinebeck! However, you do need to know it is on a busy street (so street noise), the kitchen is small, poorly lit (especially in the evening), has no dishwasher and the lake mentioned is up behind the house out of view. However, the folks who rent the property are very friendly, responsive, and extremely attentive. A pleasure to deal with. They came immediately when asked and replaced 2 light bulbs and fixed a squeaky screen door. Everything was very clean and for the most part well maintained. Front porch is great to sit out on and have a cocktail in the evening. Dining room choice of Ikea-like modern furniture was functional, although we thought a bit out-of-character for the house. If you are planning on cooking more than a simple breakfast, check what is provided in kitchen so you know what to bring, only very basic supplies provided. We were disappointed, for instance, not to find candle holders, candles or placemats with which to dress up the table for dinner. (We had found items like this in other VRBO houses we've rented.) The 4 upstairs bedrooms were perfectly adequate as were the full baths up and downstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Home Near The Quaint Town of Rhinebeck

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of our stay in Rhinebeck! The house is immaculately clean and is full of character at every turn. We stayed with 6 adults and 2 children (1 baby and 1 toddler) and it was a perfect fit. Walking distance to downtown Rhinebeck. A must stay!

Simple, Easy, and Convient !!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this house! Our family (7 adults, the babies didn't make the trip) stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our niece/cousins wedding. It was perfect. The biggest selling point of this house is LOCATION. We could walk to almost everything we did. It was a two minute walk to town for the rehearsal dinner Friday night. The church was also walking distance. The house was clean and open which made for easy living. It was big enough to accommodate all of us but not too big. My husband and son both swam numerous times in the lake. One concern, the house is not very quiet, the street out front is busy and the doors are loud opening and closing. One other minor thing, please put some hooks on the back of doors. There was no where to hang a towel while you are in the shower, or in the room. the owners were responsive, allowing us to get in early the first day and leave later on the last day. Great house in great location.

Great house, near everything

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for my friend's and I. We stayed there for our friend's wedding in town. There were 7 of us, plus a 3 month old. Plenty of space and nice that everyone could get their own room. The house is very close to the center of town so we could walk everywhere.

Our only complaint is not enough mirrors when 7 of us were trying to get ready for a wedding.

Great house and location!

  • 5 of 5

Our visit to Rhinebeck was lovely thanks to this great property. It was well-appointed, appealing, and clean. The owners put together an incredibly informative guest book that lists not only helpful information about the property, but great tips on the surrounding area (restaurants, things to do, etc.) as well. What a great resource. The owners were also very communicative and available to answer questions.

We loved the location--not right in the middle of town, but a super quick walk to town.

Wonderful week

  • 5 of 5

How often do you get to walk up the hill in your back yard to go for a float in the lake and then walk about 2 minutes into town for dinner? Well stay here and that will happen. Very comfortable house, great front porch for people watching and just relaxing. Easy half hour day trip access to wineries, Culinary Institute of America, Hudson River trips and all the river mansions. Rhinebeck is a wonderful little town with many culinary adventures.

Calico restaurant, which is the first restaurant you reach when leaving the house, was outstanding. Our traveling group of four has done several of these vacations in the past few years and we voted this vacation number 1. Definitely would return here.
