Guestbook comments from the manager

Thank y ou for providing such a lovely home. We met here from around the globe: Japan, Belgium and Plainview, AR. Your home was comfortable and had everthing we needed in a lovely setting.

Out daughter (8) loved waking up in the morning to go and fish off of the dock.

As for restaurants, we tried Cajun Boilers and Smokin n' style BBQ that were recommended by previous guests. Both were great. 1 plate at Smokin n' style can feed 2-3 people!!

We are leaving tomorrow feeling relaxed and happy to have had a small family reunion.

Thank you and God Bless you!

Everything just as described and expected. Wonderful time!

  • 5 of 5

This location and house was PERFECT for our little family vacation in Hot Springs. Close to everything we wanted to get to (no more than a 20 minute drive for all fun touristy things ;) ). We read the descriptions very carefully to insure we had everything we needed, and once we were settled, there were NO ISSUES. Tina was quick to respond when we needed to figure out how to turn on the washer, and even though we had figured it out, she sent a handyman to be sure there were no issues. The house was clean and comfortable, and it was SO AFFORDABLE. We were able to do every excursion we wanted, because we saved so much money on this house, and we felt like we won the lottery! Such a wonderful time. If our family wasn't growing more every year, we'd be back! Thank you so much for a perfect time!

Beautiful Property!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked. Our only issues were the STEEP driveway and no lights on the deck. Also, there was not a rail above the stairs to the garage.

Dirty! Deck lights didn't work, staircase light has a short, shower door broken, mirror closet door

I took pictures of how nasty the house was... also NOT a friendly house for children! Dangerous stairs and deck.

Great place if you just want to sleep...

  • 2 of 5

No lights on the patio, deck or boat dock work. Would've loved to hang out on the patio in the evening or on the dock to fish but with no lights it was a no go.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED FOR THE PRICE!

  • 1 of 5

We stayed at this house in April 2017. Here are MY pros and cons. First the pros: House was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, toilet paper, paper towels, and linens. The grounds are well maintained and it's really relaxing down at the boat dock. Now the cons: The driveway is very steep and the turn to the garage is tight if you are driving a truck. Smaller vehicles would be ok. The central air conditioning doesn't cool this house until late evening. We had to use box fans to circulate the air, the upstairs has a window unit, so it doesn't help much, THE FANS ARE PROVIDED BY THE OWNER SO THEY ARE AWARE!. No remote controls for living room TV, couch smells and should be changed or cleaned, sliding glass doors to patio do not lock, no lighting on patio deck, tried to use washing machine, but it leaked water all over the floor, the dryer lint vent was broken beyond use, so couldn't use the dryer either. There was noticeable mold spores next to the hot water tank on the sheet rock. Ceiling around the fireplace is peeling. and there is about an 1/2" gap along the front door between the floor and the threshold. We reported all of these problems to the manager/owner, so hopefully they will address them. Ask if these issues are resolved before you choose this property!

Nice quiet location just 15 minutes from Oaklawn.

  • 4 of 5

A lot of room for the money in a very nice little area outside of Hot Springs. Nice dock and pier area on water for fishing. Kitchen has everything you need. Enjoyed our stay at the horse races.

Hot Springs has something for everyone. Downtown Hot Springs has a lot to offer like the Historical Bath House Row, art galleries, the gangster museum, the wax museuem, specialty botique shopping, duck tours and hiking. Oaklawn Park has horse racing from January to April and gambling all year. There are great restauraunts and a lively night life. Lake Hamilton provides great fishing, and lots of water sports. Boat and seadoo rentals are available as well. Just down the road is a family fun park that has miniature golf, go-carts and arcade. Magic Springs and Crystal Falls is an amusement and water park that the family will sure to love. A short distance away is the Ouachita River and the Caddo River where you can canoe, raft or kayak.
