Located right in the centre of town, this Canmore Crossing condo puts you in the heart of year-round adventure and excitement.

Professionally remodelled in the fall 2017, this vacation retreat offers 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, an open concept dining and living area to entertain family and friends all on one level. This condo is literally steps to the local shops, supermarkets and entertainment that Canmore has to offer.
Amenities for our guests include two roof top hot tubs with amazing Rocky Mountain views, one indoor hot tub and 2 gyms. You will also love the convenience of secure elevator access from the heated underground parkade with two designated parking spots and a keyless entry system. Instead of lugging all your sporting equipment into the condo, you can use your locked personal storage unit in the parking garage.
Upon entering the second floor condo suite, you will notice the corner River Stone gas fireplace, a delightful spot to cozy up to on cool mountain evenings. The expansive leather sectional couch can be converted, if needed, into a double size bed. There is a large flat screen TV in both the Living room and Master bedroom that offers cable and Netflix for your enjoyment and free Wi-Fi. You will find artwork by local artist, Fraser McGurk on display throughout the condo.
The kitchen is fully equipped to make a quick snack or to prepare a feast. You will find upgraded appliances, ample place settings and a much-deserved dishwasher. Two supermarkets are located more or less on your doorstep for all the staples, and a quick trip for a forgotten item! There is a beautiful quartz topped peninsula island that allows family and guests to sit, relax and visit with the cook over cocktails or hot chocolate. A private balcony off the living room provides a spot to enjoy your morning coffee or to barbecue on the new Weber gas BBQ.
This spacious 3 bedroom, southeast facing condo has two Master Bedrooms. One with a King size bed and corner chair and table for reading and unwinding. There is a large walk in closet with plenty of storage room. You can access the common washroom with a stand-alone shower through a private entrance. The other Master bedroom boasts a Queen size bed and a private ensuite washroom with a shower/ tub combination. It is located on the opposite side of the condo and is ideal for another couple or teens that like their own space. The third bedroom has two twin beds separated by a low profile dresser.
A full size, stacked Samsung washer and dryer can meet all your laundry needs without ever stepping out of the condo. There are complimentary washer detergent pods and softener sheets for your convenience. All linens, bath and hot tub towels are provided as well as a starter set of Paya Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap.
You will find a Welcome Guide Book that contains information regarding this condo suite, Canmore Crossing amenities, local restaurants and activities in Canmore and the surrounding area. For your comfort and to respect our guests with allergies, our condo unit is a non-smoking and pet free environment. Keyless entry access codes will be provided to you 7 days prior to your arrival via the HomeAway app. You will be invited to download the HomeAway app when you book our condo unit. The use of a 2018 National/ Banff Park pass is included in your stay (Please use the right hand lane when entering the park gate and have the park pass displayed on your rear view mirror).
A 20-minute scenic drive takes you to the world-renowned Banff National Park, entering the historic Town of Banff shortly past the park gates and Lake Louise is an additional 30 minutes away. The Canadian Rockies are not only stunning; they offer a staggering amount of activities to enjoy for all ages and abilities. You can ski/ snowboard “The Big 3” Banff's Sunshine Village, Norquay and Lake Louise or there is Cross Country Skiing at the world renowned Canmore Nordic Centre, Golfing, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Mountain & Road Biking, Cave Exploring/ Spelunking, Snowmobiling, Dog Sled Tours, Snowshoeing and Rafting to name a few. You can also enjoy local cuisine, spas, Elevation Place (a world class recreational facility including rock climbing walls, swimming and waterslides), Banff Hot Springs and art galleries. The most difficult part of your day will be deciding where to start!

About Shelley and Rick
Rick and I currently reside and work in Ontario’s cottage country, the Kawartha Lakes. We always felt what was missing from our home was the majestic mountains. I grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan and made regular trips to Banff to enjoy the National Park and skiing. Rick lived in Cranbrook, BC and later Terrace, BC upon graduation, fostering his mountain passion.

We fell in love with Canmore and the surrounding area during our family’s March break ski vacation. We appreciated the cozy, family oriented town of Canmore, away from the bustle of Banff tourists. It was an outdoor enthusiasts' playground and it was a delight to bump into locals who actively enjoyed and took advantage of living in such a beautiful corner of the world.
What makes this Condo unique
Our family was hooked! We purchased this Canmore Crossing condo in 2017 to share the area with others and give us the opportunity to visit more often. We were thrilled with the downtown location - we could park the car and conveniently walk to all of Canmore’s amenities including the grocery stores just behind our condo, restaurants and local shops. This is not possible at our Ontario home. It is our absolute pleasure to have you as our guest. We have professionally renovated the condo to offer a beautiful and comfortable vacation retreat. Excellent Building, Suite and Stay
This is my second time staying in this building and it is perfect for rentals. It is conveniently located by all amenities and walking distance to downtown. The building is also setup with access codes to all areas so no keys or card exchanges are necessary. This made for easy check in and out. As for the Unit, it was perfect. It was very comfortable for 6 of us and it has everything you need; including a park pass which came in handy, thank you.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else.

Canmore is a one hour drive west of Calgary and near the border of Banff National Park. It is located within the Bow Valley and has the Bow River running through it. 5 mountain ranges surround the town including Ha Ling Peak, Grotto Mountain, Mount Lady MacDonald, Mount Lawrence Grassi and the famous Three Sisters. Many of these mountains have climbing, mountain biking and hiking trails for all abilities and ages.
Canmore is a quaint town within the Alberta Rockies. It has a climate that is relatively mild compared to some regions of Alberta. This pedestrian-friendly town centre surrounds 8th Street (known as "Main Street") which is lined with small shops, restaurants and galleries.
There are a series of hiking, mountain biking, equestrian and paved trails throughout Canmore area. Most notably is the Legacy Trail to Banff, the Benchlands of Mount Lady MacDonald, the Canmore Nordic Centre and the north slope of Mount Lawrence Grassi (2 small lakes located right in the mountains!).
Canmore Nordic Centre was originally constructed for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. The public can now use the facilities for cross-country skiing, mountain biking, unicycling, trail running, roller skiing and hiking. It also has disc golf courses and orienteering. It even has a 6.5 km track that is illuminated for night-time cross-country skiing.
Elevation Place, less than a 5 minute walk from our condo, opened in 2013 and is Canmore's new recreation facility. It offers an 8-lane, 25m lap pool, a world class climbing wall, two cardio rooms, a strength room and a host of fitness programs. Elevation Place also houses the community's library and local art gallery. It offers fun for the entire family - a great way to spend a day!
There are many local festivals and annual events. Some of the more popular ones include Canmore Uncorked - hosted every April for 13 days of special set price menus from local restaurants, culinary events, cooking courses and a long table dinner. The Canmore Winter Carnival for 2 weeks in early February providing lots of indoor and outdoor activities - ice carving competitions for adults and kids, skating parties, street hockey, log sawing competitions , pooch parade, art crawls and the popular Snowy Owl Kid N' Mutt races. There is also The Rocky Mountain Ski Challenge hosted by the Canmore Nordic Ski Club, The Canmore Folk Music Festival in August, The Canmore Highland Games in September, Mozart on the Mountain presented by the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the annual Festival of Eagles celebrating the autumn migration of the golden eagle over Canmore and the Bow Valley. Just to name a few of the annual activities in Canmore!
Other must-sees is Lake Minnewanka. It is a glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park. There are daily boat tours in the summer and the area is rich with animal life including elk, mountain sheep, eagles, mule deer and bears. There is an excellent opportunity to see some wildlife from the tour boat and the captain has great stories of the area.
Canmore is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. You can down hill ski or snowboard the "Big 3" including Banff Sunshine Village Ski Resort, Lake Louise and Norquay. Discounted ski lift tickets are available at Calgary's Costco and there are many gear stores in Canmore for equipment to rent or purchase. There are outstanding public golf courses nearby with wonderful mountain views. You can white water raft, dog sled, mountain and road bike, and hiking/ walking trails starting right outside our condo to name a few activities! Our condo is central to all that Canmore and the surrounding Rockies have to offer. Enjoy!
