About Jeanne Bizarro
I am a native of Colorado. My husband and I enjoy traveling, and outdoor activities and take advantage of our Colorado Rockies as much as possible. When we am not hiking, skiing, bicycling, we enjoy what Denver has to offer. Rockies, Broncos, Rapids, parks, restaurants, shopping, theater, bicycling, and endless events. The city is growing and changing, and becoming more metropolis by the month. Denver is a fun place to be and we are proud to call it our home.
Jeanne Bizarro purchased this Apartment in 2003
Why Jeanne Bizarro chose City Park West
This apartment is a great value for it's style, location, and amenities. It is spotless, and it is priced significantly below any hotel in the area and that is without kitchens provided. It is in a nice location that is perfect for experiencing all that Denver has to offer.
What makes this Apartment unique
This house is in an idea location for touring Denver. It is central to all major attractions and walkable to almost everything. Great property! Great location!
My husband and I stayed for a 10 days business trip. The property is quaint, clean, quiet and homey. VRBO beats a hotel stay and we will definitely stay again next year. As advertised - the bathroom is REALLY small.
Small but warm, cozy and efficient. The location is perfect, convenient to restaurants and shopping, and within walking distance to parks.
Cozy, quaint suite in historic house
My stay in the miniature suite was wonderful. My husband was a patient in a nearby hospital and the combination of convenient location (only 5 blocks away!) and cozy atmosphere really made things easier for me as caretaker. Not only is the suite adorable, but the owners have taken a lot of steps to make things easy for guests. The bedding and towels were soft and high quality, the shampoo and soap were particularly nice, and the decor was understated but lovely. The suite even smelled fresh and clean.
Other details that made a difference were the automatic lights that helped me make my way back and forth to my car in the dark early mornings and evenings. There is a light in the closet, which while a small thing, really helps! The tiny kitchen had everything I needed to make coffee and even heat up some leftovers for a late-night snack. And what a nice touch to leave a small bottle of water and of wine, as well as a little bowl of chocolates! The shower was great, with a good supply of hot water, great pressure, and a shower head with a strong massage setting.
Using the key code instead of a key was great too, as I didn't need to remember where the key was. The parking area in back was well lighted and the fairy lights on the balcony and back patio were also little helpful beacons.
I wish I had had more time to enjoy the balcony. We had beautiful fall weather and it's a lovely little spot. I'm sure if my stay had been for pleasure I would have made this most of it. And the location right off 17th Avenue, with all the great, hip restaurants within easy walking distance, is really ideal for the traveler. Anyone visiting Denver would also have easy driving access to downtown 5 minutes away.
I'm so glad I was able to book this rental on short notice. It was a homey little haven after several nights at a standard hotel. I would definitely recommend it, and stay there again myself. Adorable.
Quiet, quaint loft in downtown Denver
We travelled a lot during our stay but the loft was easy to get to and had parking in the back. The bed was very comfy after being out all day. It was the perfect amount of space for 1 or 2 people. Within walking distance to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was in a great up and coming location. It is still a little rundown though. There were a couple of burned out mattress out back where you park and lots of trash. You have to park exactly between the lines of your parking space or you will be towed. You cannot check in before 4. The bathroom you have to step up and is so extremely tiny you cannot turn around. Also when you step out to open the door it hits the sink that is on the outside. I think it was a little overpriced. The stairs are a little treachous and it is an old house so it is very musty smelling. Probably would not rent again.
Nice Place and great location.
I stayed here during a conference and this house is terrific. Comfortable bed, large flat screen, coffee, all-around convenient. Nice lights on the house, and cute block. No parking problems. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!
This house is very close to everything in downtown Denver. Great value for the location. The walk score is 96 and the bike score is 100! Walk out the front door and two doors down and you are at restaurant row. At your feet are two great restaurants and a casual bar. Within one block distance are new restaurants, Olive and Finch Bakery, 7-11, and Qdoaba. Walk another block and you will find Starbucks, Einstein Bagels, coffee shops, fast food, bars, restaurants, and shops.
Bike rentals are available across the street and all over the city through Denver's state-of-the-art B-Cycle program. Walk 1.2 miles to 16th Street Mall shopping, lower downtown Denver nightlife, cultural centers, a mile to the Colorado Convention Center and one and a half mile to the Pepsi Center. Short/cheap cab ride to everything. We have limited parking behind our house available for rent. There is also free public street parking available. This is a very clean house with No pets and No smoking, and no Cannabis allowed anywhere on the property.

City Park and Chessman Park are a few blocks away.
Downtown, Colorado Convention Center, Botanic Gardens, Museums, and the Civic Center are each a one mile walk.
