Welcome to Villa Mia our home-away-from home at the beach. This is a comfy and homey 2nd story "cottage" unit (walk up to 2nd level with a landing half way) North Coast Village "A" building oasis, directly at the corner of the Strand and Breakwater Way (Google it to get a "feel" for the location). Being on the 2nd story lets you be at the heart of the beach action and people watch until your hearts content! Let the pounding of the surf lull you to sleep.

We have owned and managed many rental units in Southern California including 4 in North Coast Village! Villa Mia, named after my eldest daughter, is one of our favorites!

We also own a one bedroom (vrbo.com/361326 ) and two other 2 bed/2 bath units, one is a 2 level unit including a penthouse level master suite(vrbo.com/485686 ) and just added (vrbo.com/744003 ) to our list our great ocean view units! Our family lives about an hour from Oceanside in a suburb of Los Angeles. TAKE THE TIME TO READ OUR REVIEWS. THEY ARE MOSTLY 5 AND 4 STARS (OUT OF 5 STARS)! Why David Keshavjee chose Oceanside

You cant get much closer to the beach! If you like to people watch (but not be too close-as with the ground floor units), then this is your condo. The Strand is Oceanside's equivalent of a boardwalk that accommodates both pedestrian and vehicular (one-way only) traffic. In the summer it can be packed with people walking, cruising in their cars or on 4-person surrey-top rental bikes or it can be relatively empty as the sun goes down and the beach crowds go home. In the off-season it is traveled much less frequently, mostly by the occasional vehicular tourist and the locals who live along the Strand. MAINLY, THOUGH, THE VIEWS OF THE BEACH AND THE PIER ARE UNPARALLELED!

One of the best beach views available in the entire NCV complex - one of only 4 units out of 550 in the complex that has 2nd story views of the beach and that is located on the world famous Oceanside Strand!

AAAH! - ENJOY FALLING ASLEEP & WAKING TO THE WONDERFUL SOUNDS OF THE OCEAN!

Wonderful Beach and Sunset Views! Dolphins too! Villa Mia is conveniently located to many things -- the BEACH, the Pier (love those Ruby's malts!), North Coast Village amenities, restaurants & shopping, the Coaster train, Marina, I-5 .....and did I mention the BEACH!?!? Being located on the corner of The Strand & Breakwater you have the entertainment of people-watching from the advantage of a 2nd floor balcony. However, you will also have some vehicle noise. Remember though, you have the benefit of being across the street from the 'BEACH'!!! ;-) Overall the condo is bright, clean and has delightful, fresh, beach decor. Loved the fireplace in the evenings. It's comfortable with lots of seating to enjoy chatting or viewing the generous-sized TV. If you like to cook on vacation, you will also enjoy the well-equipped kitchen. Lots of pots, pans, utensils, dishware & cabinet space. An added plus is the cabinet stocked with miscellaneous spices, etc. There are 'starter' paper goods only. We also appreciated some extras - flashlight/nightlights, etc. Master bedroom king bed was reasonably comfortable; Green Room queen bed was VERY firm. Our family of 5 adults very much enjoyed our week at Villa Mia & would look forward to staying there or one of the other Keshavjee properties. To be noted: there are various sections of stairs & levels between the garage and condo. To make move-in/move-out easier, use the nearby man-gate located on Breakwater. North Coast Village patrolmen, Bob & Doug were very helpful upon check-in. Thank you, David for being a helpful & responsive host.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas while celebrating with family in Oceanside. Condo was very comfortable, had everything we needed including a well- equipped kitchen. Great view of the beach and pier, fun to sit on the balcony and watch the surfers and beach traffic go by. Lots of places to walk to for breakfast and lunch. Pool, hot tub and laundry convenient, right across the street. We hope to stay here again!

Perfect beach trip

The condo was amazing! We are used to east coast so there were minor adjustments but Southern California was better than I had imagined! Close to my marine at Camp Pendleton....downtown Oceanside was fun and trendy. Central to San Diego and LA. Loved everything!

The view from the balcony and master bedroom is wonderful. Would stay again.

The Condo is located right on the beach and we enjoyed the views every day. They included surfers and dolphins. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to make meals and there was plenty of beach gear. We had a great time.

There are literally hundreds of items to attend to in a full house of this size and things can break or housekeepers may miss a spot here or there, etc. We aim for a perfect place ( and, overwhelmingly, our reviews endorse this), however, sometimes, things go awry. Please be understanding and patient. Whenever possible, we will try to correct the situation if notified in a timely and patient manner.
