Fantastic Vintage gathering place.
We have family in Eugene but no home as big as I needed for a special celebration. I planned a prime rib dinner for my mother in laws 91st birthday. We had a sit down dinner for 20 people. My sister in laws church loaned us tables and chairs which we placed from the family room into the bar. The house has a formal living, small dining room, family room and a large bar room with a full wet bar, full size pool table and jute box that works. A screened in back porch with a table for those who smoke, Nice gas BBQ (and very clean) plus a swing large enough for 3-4 people. Gorgeous fenced very private back yard with a patio area and fire pit. Nice size kitchen with a good stove, microwave, dishwasher and large sink. nice dish ware and serving ware. Nothing chintzy. Nice laundry room with a large washer, dryer. Huge bathroom plus a half bath. Great shower. Excellent Internet and a large monitor at a computer desk. No need to unpack that tiny laptop! You never find that in a vacation rental. And night lights on sensors! Plus the extras provided. TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, shampoo, LARGE bars of bath soap ( not those hotel slivers), laundry soap, towels. You name it, you will find it. There is even gift wrap if you need it! Again nothing chintzy. Large TV in the family room. Loved that we had all the rooms to spread out. Living room for quiet conversation, family room for TV and the bar and pool table for others. Three nice sized bedrooms with more then enough bedding. If you are a Ducks fan you will love this place. Duck blankets to share. We just sold our vacation home on the beach so this review is by one very fussy lady. Number one bug for me is renting a vacation home then I spend the first 2 hours cleaning it. This is the only one I didn't re-clean!!! I had nothing to clean here. We will rent again in a heart beat. Almost forgot we love the key-less entry. No keys to lose or wonder if they were duplicated. Only con to us was just one full bath. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home:0)
Very nice neighborhood, and close to shopping. House was very clean, with an extremely well stocked kitchen. The pool table and bar were perfect for a family gathering we had on New Years. Nice large, well kept yard which was enjoyed by our dog. We had a great stay and plan on staying again in the future!
