We really enjoyed our time at this property. It’s the perfect getaway from the city’s hustle and bustle. The location is great and the house is what relaxation is made of. I cannot wait to come back next year and stay a little longer.
We look forward to your return!

We enjoyed our time in this beautifully constructed cabin. Lots of nature without all the “country bear” clutter. We hope to return when it isn’t raining!

Scaly Mountain snow tubing is close by as is the town of Highlands, NC. State parks near you are Black Rock Mountain, Mocassin Creek (see the nearby fish hatchery), and the Tallulah River Gorge. Get a permit to hike down to the bottom of the gorge and swim in an isolated emerald pool. Many local artisans may be found along the Soque River and north into Mountain City. The Foxfire museum of Appalachian culture is on the road to Dillard. Want to boat? Use our canoe or rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina.
