One double bedroom and one twin bedded room (which can be made into a Super King sized bed) with a bathroom on first floor, one double bedroom with an ensuite shower room on second floor, a fully fitted modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine, very comfortable lounge with Sky+ and fast internet access and phone connection within the privacy of a small office if required. With a newly modernised conservatory from which to enjoy the garden and the sun, this property is ideal for any St. Andrews visitor.

This Listed cottage is situated on one of the most charming, quiet streets of St. Andrews with the Cathedral at one end and the Old Course - all a 10 minute walk away. Enjoy being at the centre of everything with the only rush hour as students move from lecture to lecture! Ideally located opposite the University’s famous St. Salvator’s Chapel (see video) and Quadrangle, you really can’t ask for more.........nearly forgot, the beach is only a ten minute walk away, and Sainsbury's 2 minutes up the cobbled walkway!

The cottage also has a beautiful garden with patio area, ideal for outdoor summer living. There is a garden store which can house golf clubs, wood for the fire or outdoor furniture. The clothes drier can be found here also.

For further information turn right and walk up the cobbled walk way to Market Street and you will see the Visit Scotland Information Shop. Supermarkets, friendly pubs,exquisite shopping, coffee shops and top class restaurants are all at your finger tips. ENJOY!

We bought this property because we love the town of St Andrews - it holds a special place for us, as we were married here, and enjoyed our wedding reception at the Old Course Golf and Country Club. We also have a lot of family living in this area.

What makes this cottage unique

I love our cottage because it is just so cosy and so completely central to everything you could want from the town of St Andrews. It's age gives it history, and stories yet to unfold!

Absolutely top drawer, convenient and could not have been more pleased. Wonderful

Having stayed in St. Andrews several times, the Bunker is ideally located and ideal for four persons, although it can accommodate more. Parking was not an issue, and the convenience to food stores, restaurants and retail unbeatable.

Perfect accommodations for our two weeks in St. Andrews

Location is ideal. The glass porch area was perfect for games and eating together. Actually had to turn the heat off because the weather was so nice. Would return!

Charming homey and immaculate

We loved our stay at the Bunker Cottage. Even being on the main road, North Street wasnt a noise issue. Our only issue was dealing with the old lower lock on the front door for our initial entry. Once in we simply used the upper lock.....will hope to return!

Very comfortable cottage. Great location; walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Golfers benefit from free parking outside the door between 5pm and 9am (assuming you're parked at golf course during the day).

Charming and well located .

We enjoyed several days in this perfect location for getting about St.Andrews. The home is cozy and well stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the enclosed yard and the clothes dryer as we were traveling with small children. Our host was responsive and accommodating in all ways. I hope we'll be able to enjoy The Bunker on another visit to St Andrews.

The charming medieval town of St. Andrews has much to offer its visitors. It is the home of golf as well as the oldest University in Scotland. It has a fascinating history, beautiful beaches and walks and excellent restaurants. It really is an idyllic location for enthusiastic golfers or a base to explore the east coast of Scotland.

St Andrews is a town meant for exploring. The medieval layout of the town centre remains intact, with the main shopping areas concentrated in Market Street and South Street, with Bell Street and Church Street connecting the two principal streets. Take time to explore - on foot - and take pleasure at the surprises and delights you will find.

St Andrews holds a special place in Scotland's history. It takes its name from the Apostle whose relics, legend tells us, were brought to this place in antiquity by St Rule. Scotland later adopted St Andrew as her patron saint and took his salt ire cross for her flag.
