|Minimum Stay||2 - 5 nights|
A private hot tub, as well as stunning and picturesque views of Newport's Agate Beach await you at this modern and gorgeous oceanfront vacation getaway that's perfect for multiple families or couples traveling together! Separate living areas on two levels can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, with a maximum amount of privacy for those who like to enjoy their own space. Completely new furnishings, large windows, shiny hardwood floors, two gas fireplaces, and super close beach access will have everyone enjoying sunny days right on the shore.
Numerous windows throughout the home offer striking views of the ocean and let in an abundance of natural light. Upstairs, a large, bright sunroom allows guests to enjoy the ambiance of being outside on rainy or cold days while still being warm and dry inside. The main living room has a cozy gas fireplace and comfortable furniture, making it the perfect place to gather everyone around and hang out together. Bring along your favorite DVDs, relax, and enjoy a movie night on the flat screen TV.
The well-located dining table is right by two corner windows for a meal with a postcard-quality view. Sit down to some homemade lasagna while you watch the waves roll in below. Through the dining room is the charming galley-style kitchen, where warm colors create a pleasing space for making coffee, chopping vegetables, stirring sauces, or even baking up some banana pancakes at breakfast time. Although, eating out is certainly an option with the many Newport-area restaurants nearby: everything from pizza to fine dining is within a couple of miles of your door.
The first of four total bedrooms is just off the sunroom, and has a luxurious king sized. Decorated in pleasing blues and browns, there's even an en-suite bathroom. This room also has a small patio accessed through sliding glass doors for a morning cup coffee while enjoying the fresh ocean-scented air.
The second and third bedrooms are located just off the upstairs living room, with a queen bed in one and a set of twin bunk beds in the other. The queen room features a Mission-style wood headboard and a large picture window framing more stunning ocean views; you'll definitely want to bring some coffee back to bed and watch the waves. There is also a second full bathroom located upstairs.
One of the most unique features of this house is the separate one bedroom hideaway located on the lower level. This second living room also has a warm, gas fireplace and brand new sage green furniture. A second TV and DVD player is ready for night-long movie watching. A door just off the living room leads out to a patio with a stunning ocean view and a fire pit for marshmallow roasting!
There is also a full kitchen and dining table on this level, so its occupants can choose to make their own meals or join everyone upstairs for larger get-togethers. The bedroom features a king sized bed with soft bedding and stylish headboard. A dresser, matching bedside tables, black spiral lamps, and large picture windows with views of Agate Beach complete this peaceful and relaxing room. This lower level can provide extra privacy for part of your group that wants to be able to mingle with everyone else, but also wants their own space. It also works well when grandparents are vacationing with adult children and grandchildren. Other amenities of the whole house include two sets of washers and dryers for laundry and WiFi.
Enjoying your vacation at the beach will be so easy here! Head out as a group and enjoy miles of beachcombing, building sand castles, flying kites, there are endless possibilities. If you have golfers among you, they can warm up their swings at the Agate Beach Golf Course right next door. In rainy weather, the trip across the iconic Yaquina Bay Bridge to the Oregon Coast Aquarium will result in a family fun-filled day (although perhaps a stop at Rogue Brewery will tempt away the older travelers!). Or just stay close to home and soak in the private hot tub.
For a special winter vacation, watch the storms rain down on Agate Beach through this home's large picture windows. If you're looking for a place for your group to enjoy the beach year-round, Agate Beach Oceanfront Lodge is definitely the place for you!

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
beautiful home. but beware no beach access and confusing on which lockbox to use. Property was not cleaned when we arrived so had to call to send someone out to finish. Nice place but the cleaning crew should probably be replaced.
It's true - this property has a great view of the ocean, but don't plan on being able to walk to the beach. The instructions and the map on the fridge are misleading. Depending on the time of year, the stream is impossible to cross. This house has a lovely sunporch but the entire home is FILTHY top to bottom. I had to drive out for wipes to clean the kitchen - the stove even had food on it. The silverware and coffee mugs in the cupboards had food and grime on them. Lastly, the musty/mildew smell was overpowering. Do NOT stay here if you are sensitive to mold.
It really is a shame - this property is in a nice spot (although it is RIGHT off Highway 101), but is overdue for an update and needs a REALLY good cleaning. Whoever has been cleaning this place needs to be fired.
Worth every penny. Highly reccomended. Would live there if I could!
We had a wonderful time at agate beach lodge! Close to everything and WHAT A VIEW!! We rented body boards from ossies- 1 min away. Couldn't have had more fun!!!
Gorgeous view. Weren't informed of security alarm and had to scramble to get help. House not well-cleaned and lacking in supplies. Piles of dirt under chairs and rugs, mold on shower curtains, electrical outlets not working, light bulbs missing. Had to buy more paper products and dishwasher soap. Very difficult to access beach. Steep hike down with stream to cross at bottom. Property overgrown. Nice fire pit but no safe access.
