Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We booked based on the description and the pics thinking we were staying on the lake. My boys wanted to fish the whole time. There was NO water! It's seasonal only as it's not on the main lake. Other than that, it's a nice area, very quiet and peaceful. But we wanted a lake front home and we got dirt.
The location was very quiet and peaceful, also very pretty. Had there actually been water in the lake it would have been 5 star for sure. Either I missed it (because it was not clearly stated) or it wasn't stated, but this house isn't on the main lake. It's a finger of the lake and there was ZERO water! We booked here due to the pics of it being a waterfront cabin so my boys could fish. We had to drive them to another location to fish, total bummer. I don't know when the water is there and when it isn't, but it's best to check so you aren't stuck with no water in the lake.
House itself is nice inside. Needs a handrail for the stairs inside though, there isn't one and there should be. I am sure this house would have been so much more fun with an actual lake to look at , fish in, etc.
Nice house, with great views. Very peaceful sunsets. However, the house does not have dock access all summer long...lake was lowered in late July preventing any type of water fun from the house.
Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We loved every second of our 3 day stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone, but especially to families with children. Perfect family accommodations and little touches that the children appreciated-bunks beds, mini cushy chairs, stuffed animals, etc. The dock was an added benefit. Kids were swimming and loving it!
This property is absolutely gorgeous, and the location is truly my kind of paradise. No detail is overlooked in the decor and amenities, and the house and grounds were immaculate! We were five adult family members looking for a few days of rest and relaxation, and this spot fit the bill perfectly. We are hoping that we can come back next summer. A big, fat THANK YOU to the owners and the property manager, Matt...great job!!!
