If you’re coming to South Lake Tahoe to ski, you’ll be only six miles away from the slopes, shops, spas, and skating rink. Nevada gambling is just across the state line near Heavenly, too.
The outside of this Tahoe lodge is as enchanting as what you’ll discover inside. Sit out on the backyard porch or the expansive balcony. Both spots have cushioned seating for a delightful morning coffee gathering or evening chat.
Inside the home, you’ll have a spacious living room, tall vaulted ceilings, and chandeliers. A gas fireplace makes everything cozy, while the flatscreen TV with surround sound makes family nights fun.
The country-style kitchen offers the tools to make and the space to enjoy a homemade breakfast before heading out to the lifts.
Downstairs, you have a bedroom with two queen beds and easy access to a full bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with another queen and access to the deck through French doors. The master suite is almost like a retreat in itself with its serene hues, fireplace, and bathroom with jetted tub, walk-in shower, and vanity. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home will sleep eight guests in comfort.
All year round, great outdoor adventures can be had at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Take in the breathtaking sights from the Heavenly Mountain Gondola, a 2.4 mile ride with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe below. If there's one thing you definitely won't want to leave at home when you visit the South Shore, it's your sense of excitement!

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
I stayed for 3 days with my family and everyone enjoyed the stay at this place.
very close to HW-50, emerald-bay and lakeview avenue and other places..
so beautiful street, calm, quiet.
Excellent spot, kitchen was fully stocked. Very clean and comfortable
Our tweens/teens really enjoyed themselves with late-night snacks, game-playing and comfy lounging. The adults appreciated all the amenities and the general comfort of this beautiful home. We REALLY used 2181 Royal Ave. as our "home-away-from-home" on this second visit. We had two families come-and-go to utilize the home well and it worked, again. It will certainly be great memories for all!
It was indeed a very nice stay. The house doesn't have air conditioning, it would be very nice to be able to open the windows but the downstairs window didn't have screen doors so we can't open them. Ceiling fans would be awesome to have in the bedrooms
My family stayed here for the second time and we'll definitely return. We love the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to Pope Beach.
The neighbors are super friendly and the neighborhood is quiet and great for walking. Unfortunately the property is not near any useable water as we had thought it would be. The house is nice, but the decor needs updating. The kitchen and bathrooms were great! They really need some fans and/or screens on the doors. The upstairs bedroom with no window gets rather warm at night, but you cannot leave the balcony door open due to mosquitos. We thought we could utilize the outdoor space more, but some of the chairs are broken. Only 4 people can sit out back at one time. Overall we had a nice time, but would opt for a different house next time.
