This handsome Bend getaway is perfectly situated for skiers and shoppers alike! Just 20 minutes from the slopes of Mt. Bachelor and 10 minutes from downtown shopping and dining, this two-bedroom condo sits just off the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway in the highly desirable Mt. Bachelor Village community. Newly updated and offering access to resort amenities like hot tub and swimming pool, the condo is perfect for two couples, a small family vacation, or even just a romantic weekend for two.
The second-story condo is nestled among the Ponderosa pines, with a lovely mountain decor that's just rustic enough to provide that "get-away-from-it-all" ambiance. Settle into the open living area on a chilly evening, with a gas fireplace and flat-screen TV for especially cozy movie nights. On sunny mornings, step out to the upper-level balcony to sip your morning coffee in the fresh air.
Just behind the living area is the open kitchen, framed by a breakfast bar with four stools and topped with exposed wood beams. You'll find all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher for easy clean-up, and plenty of pots and pans, dishes, serving utensils, and glassware.
Up a flight of stairs, the loft level is a lovely master suite with a queen bed, spacious closet, and attached bath. Downstairs, the second bedroom has a queen bed of its own and is just around the corner from the full bath. The condo includes wireless Internet, and access to all the amenities of Mt. Bachelor Village: a year-round hot tub, seasonal swimming pool, and tennis courts.
Just beyond your door, you'll find access to trails meandering along the Deschutes River, perfect for summer hikes or winter snowshoe expeditions. All the galleries, breweries, and dining of downtown Bend are just a ten-minute drive away, and of course Mt. Bachelor beckons just twenty minutes to the west.
There's no better spot to explore the urban appeal and outdoor adventures of Bend!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The condo was a great place to stay during our weekend stay in Bend area. It was clean, cozy, conveniently located and well equipped. The gas fireplace was wonderful during cooler spring nights as well. I would definitely want to come back.
The place was clean, well-supplied kitchen-wise, and well-situated within a quick drive or a longer walk to downtown in one direction to Safeway, restaurants, in the other. It's also on the way out of town towards Mt. Bachelor!
I stayed here by myself in October. The condo has nice ambience and the location is great. less than a 10 minute easy drive to Downtown and the Mill District. Lots of nearby stores, restaurants for anything you may want. Short walk from condo to a beautiful river walk along the Deschutes. Don't miss seeing the Dillon and Benham Falls...short drive from condo. Overall...very nice condo. Living space is limited and no dining table but certainly comfortable for a couple or small family.
We were a party of 5, here for the Bend Film Festival in October, a lovely time of year. This condo suited us just fine, as we were there mainly to sleep and eat breakfast. We get along with each other well, so the loft above the living room worked for us, but if you want to be able to close the door on your bedroom for quiet, there isn't one for the upstairs. The setting was pleasant enough, the tv and kitchen all functioned well and we felt that the complex was well maintained, quiet, parking easy and pool/hot tub just a few steps away. Great value and Vacasa staff was very helpful.
This is a property that I would like to have and fix up. The cabin and guest house are basically nice, but both need a fair amount of attention. I would not discourage anyone from staying there, just be aware of what you are getting. The lake is nice, but when we were there it was low and surrounded by deep muck that made bank fishing or putting the canoe in the water impossible. The scenery can only be described as wonderful. By the way, bring your own coffee pot.
