About Astrid and Rick
Hi, We are Astrid (48) and Rick (47), we have two sons, Joris (16) and Jesse (9). Rick is born and raised in Amsterdam and I moved 30 years ago to Amsterdam. Before we settled down we have travelled the world and stayed also at other people houses. We like to think that by staying with locals you’ll see a different city. Of course we will help you to explore the city and if we have the time we will show you around. If the weather permits, and if our schedule allows it we can go for a boot trip or have a drink at our rooftop.
Astrid and Rick purchased this Studio in 2001
Why Astrid and Rick chose Amsterdam-Centrum
It was our dream that one day a small piece of Amsterdam would be ours. Once back in Amsterdam we decided to chase our dream. 18 years ago we bought our town house, which was build in 1897 and stood the test of time really well.
What makes this Studio unique
Located in the best part of Amsterdam, called the Jordaan. Our street is really quiet but around the corner you will see the most picturesque street with all little restaurants, bars and shops with in the background the Wester Church. For us one of the reasons to buy the house.

Beautiful, bright, and great location.
We had a wonderful time at Rosie’s Place.
Great location. Easy to find our way around the neighbourhood and walking distance to major touris.
Everything was as advertised but better.
Wonderful place to stay in the Jordan District
We loved staying at Rosie’s Place. It was clean, stylish and had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy for our week in Amsterdam. Astrid and Rick were helpful and attentive to any request or question we had. The neighborhood is so pretty and there are restaurants, cafes and bakeries close by. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Rosies Place – Review
Our recent stay at Astrid and Rick’s Rosies Place in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam was marvelous. Our hosts’ thoughtfulness and the bright, modern flat provided a comfortable home-base for our exploration of Amsterdam’s museums, including the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh, and the Rijksmuseum. Markets in the neighborhood made self-catering very convenient. We recommend this Amsterdam City Centre VRBO without reservation.

A special location with charming hosts & comfy accommodations
Excellent location in a beautiful, quiet area close to public transportation and good places to eat. Easy walking to Anne Franks, grocery stores, best apple pie in Amsterdam (Winkel 43) and lovely canals. Outstanding hosts, easy to contact.
Rosie’s Place: Amsterdam
Quiet, clean, well appointed studio in the Jordaan area. Astrid was helpful and delightful to deal with. Coffee, tea and wine available, along with some treats. Metro stop was only a 5 minute walk, and good restaurants were available in the neighborhood. Would happily stay again st Rosie’s Place
Located in the Jordaan, center of Amsterdam. Anne Frank museum and the Western church are 5 minutes walking. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops and galleries around the corner. Local markets on Monday and Saturday morning.
