About Wendy Kapp
A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old. While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.
Why Wendy Kapp chose Historic Eastside
Location, location, location is why I chose these homes for our visitors; walk everywhere.

Perfect Little In-Town Casita
Very well accoutred. So comfortable. Thoughtful details like bathrobes and slippers. Very comfortable bed with abundance of pillows. The kitchen worked really well for cooking full meals. The kiva is quintessentially New Mexico and adds such a cozy piñon fire in the winter. Location is perfect for walking downtown or up/down Canyon Road. Truly one of the best rentals we've had, not just in Santa Fe, but over the world.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We always work had to make our guests feel at home, and we're thrilled to hear how comfortable you were. We hope Two Casitas will host your next trip to Santa Fe!
A Perfect Santa Fe Retreat!
My spouse and I stayed here for a three night getaway to Santa Fe and we both wished we could have stayed longer. As a newly remodeled property, it was well equipped and everything was in outstanding condition. (Kudos for the thought that went into stocking the kitchen.) It really did feel like a home away from home and I found myself wishing we could rent it for a month to spend the mornings walking over to explore the blocks of galleries nearby, taking a siesta, and then spending the afternoon either writing out on the front patio or strolling over to the Plaza to explore all the cultural attractions. It also was a great jumping off point for morning hikes in the nearby mountains, which our dogs enjoyed greatly. While we stayed in the one bedroom unit on this property, which I highly recommend, there is a larger unit which adjoins it and the entire dwelling would be perfect for a larger family traveling together. Loved it!
We are happy you enjoyed the home so much! Two Casitas works hard to offer homes above and beyond the regular options. Sounds like you really took advantage of all this home offers!
The one bedroom casita was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We were in Santa Fe for a weekend, and it was a great location for exploring the old town. The casita was so comfortable though that it was hard to actually leave the house. The decor is beautiful; the bed is soft; the kitchen has everything you need; and it's quiet. There was another party in the main house, and we didn't hear a thing.
We are thrilled you enjoyed this unique and perfectly located casita! It is private though you are so close to all the great attractions of Santa Fe. It is very quiet despite the larger home attached but with adobe walls and perfect overall layout you can't even tell.
Very comfortable and well stocked. Great location. Would highly recommend.
We are happy you enjoyed this wonderful home, perfect location and perfect amenities! You really can't beat that place for convenience to the plaza, Canyon Rd. and the beautiful path along the water.
Great Stay in Santa Fe!
We had a great first visit to Santa Fe staying at Sombra. Each day, we would roam the galleries and shops on Canyon Rd., just one block away. At night, we would have a short and beautiful walk to town square in the historic district for dinner. The cottage was a great home base for lounging during the day. We'll be back!
Thank you for the great review! It sounds like you really explored Santa Fe, and we're so glad that Sombra was an effective home base. We hope Two Casitas will host your next trip to Santa Fe.
