The natural wooden cottage in Le Marche, 20 min Sibillini Nat Park, 40 min sea

Bedrooms 2
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 6 - 7 nights

About the property

Forestcamp is a wooden cottage for 4 people for unforgettable holidays.

With a 360 degree view of the most beautiful and envied in the area,

It is a comfortable cottage where you feel right at home, with a pleasant garden where you can move between the various officinal plants and their inebriating fragrances. In the summer months you can also refresh yourself in our small swimming pool.

The completely wooded home, single and independent, is completely ecological and sustainable, fresh in summer and warm and welcoming in winter. The view extends from the Sibillini mountain chain to the rock of Smerillo, from below Lake San Ruffino to the medieval village of Monte San Martino, the most rural and varied countryside of the pedemontana area.

Forestcamp also offers you the chance to play with archery areas, giant chess games with mountain views, and a variety of natural terraces equipped for relaxing, very romantic.

All you need for a real well-being!

Here you can spend your free moments in the summer, where you can stroll through woods and medieval villages that you find a few miles from here, all around, in winter in front of a beautiful stone fireplace with a glass of excellent wine.

In the winter months you can also practice a few kilometers from here various sports such as downhill skiing, snowboards, or snowshoe walks.

If you want to move around, we recommend walks inside the Parco dei Monti Sibillini (even accompanied by an expert guide) or bicycle tours in the direction of Amandola. Or, at a couple of kilometers you will find the medieval village of Monte San Martino, where you can enjoy good food at the restaurant "Il Priore", right in the historic center and visit the historic buildings that host the famous works of the master Crivelli.

Also Penna San Giovanni (with a small museum), Montefalcone Appennino, with its museum of natural history and fossils and where to admire, from the ancient tower, the most amazing view on all the mountains and valleys.

Very suggestive in August is the historical re-evocation of Servigliano, where to make an excellent aperitif in the local “Pane e Vino” osteria.

You can also stroll through the small village of Smerillo, surrounded by its ancient walls, immerse yourself in the fossil-rocky walls or observe the floristic species protected on the various paths connecting the Smerillo forest to Montefalcone Appennino.

In Smerillo you can enjoy traditional dishes and not a great rural food at the “Le Logge” restaurant.

If you are looking for a sea, you will find beautiful sandy beaches at 40 minutes, with all the comforts and entertainment.

Even without going too far, 5 minutes from here, there is a beautiful lake where you can rent canadian canoes, kayaks and pedalboat for marvelous trips around the lake.

For the more naturalists you can see the green herons with their giant nests, the rare species of toads, clams, and other species in extinction.

Not to be missed is also the beautiful and historic towns of Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, with their squares of the People, civic and historical museums, ancient libraries and impressive medieval churches.
