Aloha! We currently live in the Upper Mississippi River Valley, in a small town that overlooks Lake Pepin. We love working outside in the summer, tending to our 600-vine vineyard. We've spent the last 30 years in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis & Saint Paul, MN), working and raising our family. We've also lived in the heart of London's Mayfair district. But, for Midwesterners like us, coming to Kauai during the winter months is the most rejuvenating experience of all.

It's a blessing to share our home with you! We bought our beach house because we've been coming to Kauai year after year and have always stayed at Kiahuna Plantation. The whale-watching from the beach is spectacular. The sunsets are the most romanitc endings to the perfect days, and we want to make these moments last a lifetime.

As owners, we offer our guests the best rates for the property. Updates we made immediately after purchasing in 2013 were stainless steel appliances, bathroom upgrades, bead board, fresh paint, new lighting fixtures, and other upgrades throughout. We are in a quiet location in Phase II of the resort, so we're close to the twin bridges, the great lawn, and beach. We offer a personal touch and communicate with our guests to make sure they have the best experience possible...and, like I said, we have the BEST LOCATION!

Wonderful Condo Rental
This is a fabulous rental in the Kiahuna complex. The walk to the beach is short and the outside lanai is perfect for meals and lounging. Inside the place is nicely remodeled and the furniture is all new and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the barbecue is right outside the front door. I would definitely rent this place again. Maryanne is one of the best and clearly takes time to make sure she can help in anyway. Overall, this place is awesome.

Simply put our stay at the Kiahuna Plantation #59 was PERFECT!!! By far one of the nicest vacation home rentals we have ever stayed in. Lovely decorated, clean and VERY comfortable. The grounds are stunning, with only a short walk to the beach for a day of sun or watching the sunset (we enjoyed doing both). Maryanne was so helpful from start to finish...... with tips on restaurants and the numerous activities on the island. Thank you, thank you for sharing your lovely home. Mahalo!

This is an amazing property with a great view of the garden. Very open being that it is on the corner and you get the trade winds blowing in. The bed is SO comfortable. I have back problems and I did not have pain one in this bed which is always a problem for me. Everything you could need was in kitchen. We also loved that the shower had a hand held shower head. Makes it much easier to wash your hair.
We locked ourselves out the first day and security was great in checking our ID and double checking to see if we belonged in that unit. We felt very secure. They also called the first day to let us know if we left to lock our sliding door since we were on the bottom floor.
We had an amazing trip. I would also suggest to eat at Brennecke's Beach Broiler when you want to eat out, also Puka Dog for a quick meal. WOW they were outstanding.
All in all a great trip, great place to stay (felt like home), books, games, everything you need including beach chairs.

Cozy, Clean, Perfect Location
Our stay was excellent! The unit was so clean and inviting. We used the board games and beach gear available to guests and it really felt like home. Staying here gave us way more freedom than a hotel would have and beach access was so close! Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Kiahuna Plantation is a lush tropical setting right on the beach. The grounds are impeccably manicured. Our unit is a 2-minute walk to the 'Great Lawn' and white sands of Kiahuna Beach. Rental includes daily beach towels and chairs at the beach hut, concierge service, free and unlimited use of the Poipu Athletic Club and Pool, with tennis; yoga; and more, Direct TV, and free high-speed internet. The acclaimed Plantation Garden Restaurant is on the premise, in the original plantation manager's home.
Kiahuna Plantation is within easy walking distance to the Poipu Shopping Village, with many unique shops. Restaurants in the Shopping Village range from the casual (but famous) Puka Dog to upscale, world-class cuisine.
All guests pay housekeeping fees directly to Outrigger Kiahuna upon checkout. Bookings for 5-8 days incur a minimum housekeeping fee of $15.50. Guests with children incur mid-week cleaning charges of $62. per week during stay. Every booking is charged a check-out cleaning fee of $175. (All cleaning fees include tax.)
