Outside the city “vibe” is all around you, with great dining in Chinatown, a fantastic breakfast restaurant, Jam, just across the street, a highly-rated French restaurant Le Brasserie Ecole just next door, numerous coffee shops and tea rooms all close by.
Public transport to BC Ferry terminal, YYJ, Butchart Gardens and many regional areas is easily accessed just 2 blocks away.
Bike rentals, kayak rentals just 2 blocks.
Great shopping at Capital Iron and many bargains at Value Village just 2 blocks.
Harbour Ferry stop with sailings to Inner Harbour and the Gorge Waterway is just 3-4 blocks away.
4 blocks to Swans Pub and the Canoe Brew Pub.

There is an 'energy' in this small pocket of downtown Victoria, BC that can't be found anywhere else. A 'vibrancy' and an international flavor that stimulates one's senses.
The City Vibe Suite is located in the middle of the Victoria Design District, Chinatown, The Victoria Public Market and the Government Street tourist strip.
There's lots of places to shop for interesting food items, souvenirs, imports, local arts and crafts and regular, everyday supplies.
You can walk to almost anywhere in downtown Victoria from here and then return to your comfortable, well equipped suite, relax in front of the large screen smart TV and ease away the rest of the day.
The enclosed Zen Garden in the central courtyard is pretty sweet for sitting and relaxing while you listen to the sounds of the city outside the walls.
The proximity to Chinatown shopping and dining is a definite asset.
The amazingly efficient layout of the suite makes it a wonderfully comfortable and convenient place in which to stay if you're a couple wanting an affordable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped vacation rental in which to stay while you're in Victoria, BC.
I think that it will be very hard to beat the level of quality that Melissa and Rod offer when doing business with you. From the moment you book, their communication are prompt, clear, very helpful. The apartment I stayed in was very beautiful and nicely located downtown Victoria. Very clean, with everything I could need and more. The building had a high level of safety, and a covered parking. Melissa even had the most delicate thought to bring a bit of food because she knew that I had been travelling for a long time, and it was the end of the day. Melissa and Rod are extremely professional, think of everything before you ask for it, and if you ask for something, they will help you the best they can. It is as if you are dealing with friends. I would do business with them again my eyes closed, and I highly recommend them.
I stayed at the City Vibe Suite for a full month and loved every day of it. The location was really prime and in a cute part of China Town. The suite itself was very clean, with really modern appliances and an absolutely ace cooking setup. I'd highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!
We stayed in the City Vibe Suite for two weeks in March. We found Melissa and Rod very pleasant to deal with and any complaints we had, which were very few, were dealt with immediately. They responded to us quickly and accommodated us when required.
We were located very centrally, with easy walking access to stores, restaurants, bars, a shopping mall, hairdressers, movie theatres, churches and just about any facility we required - it was just around the corner!
We would stay in their properties again should we visit Victoria. We knew we could count on Rod and Melissa for any questions/concerns and they would answer us very quickly, which was important to our stay as we were new to Victoria.
I was recently in the City Vibe Suite for an extended rental period (due to my job). The place is great and very well set up (anything you need is there). I really liked living there and am moving to a slightly larger rental unit (due to another extended stay) supplied by Steve and Trish. Not only was my rental great, but my landlords were even better.. Steve and Trish go above and beyond as far as taking care of their clients. They are wonderful people and they really take care of clients based on what I have seen personally. I am really glad that I chose to stay in Victoria and rent through Steve and Trish. A very positive experience indeed!
Close to the oldest Chinatown in Canada (2nd oldest in N. America after San Francisco), you can see the Gates of Harmonious Interest, the entrance to Chinatown from the front window.
Many great eating establishments in Chinatown as well as fascinating shopping and historic buildings, secret alleys, fruit and vegetable vendors too.
One block further is Victoria's historic Old Town Area, the trendy Design District and the Victoria Public Market.
Just 3 blocks walk to the center of tourism activities along Government Street and about 10 minutes by foot to Victoria's Inner Harbour, the Fairmont Empress Hotel, Harbour Air and Kenmore Air float plane services.
2 blocks to the beautiful McPherson Theatre and Playhouse, Le Brasserie Ecole French Cuisine is next door, Jam Restaurant across the street is a Victoria favourite, Cascadia Bakery is 1/2 block away.
Victoria City Hall and the headquarters of the CRD Capital Regional District are just 1-2 blocks away a Royal Bank of Canada just 2 blocks, many shopping and sightseeing opportunities all within very close proximity.
