Or enjoy unwinding around a bonfire pit, firewood included! For music enthusiasts, there is a guitar with tuner and picks provided. Or, just hang out on the decks listening to the babbling sounds of Greenwater River while enjoying the landscape of the surrounding mountains and nearby 100+ year old, majestic fir trees. Why Auggie and Ann chose Washington

My wife Ann and I seem to be drawn by the mountains snow capped peaks, spectacular rivers, wildlife, world class skiing, fishing as well as its many hiking & biking trails. In October of 2012 we found ourselves buying this property we named, “Two Cabins and a Caboose” and began turning it into a park-like setting that now offers local and world travelers experiences unlike any other region.

What makes this cabin unique

This unique, fun-filled setting offers vacationers a great way to escape, meet new friends or rekindle family/friend ties while sharing stories around the bonfire pit or simply relaxing achy muscles in the jacuzzi. Water from the tap! Mt. Rainer has the best drinking water from anywhere in the world and our water straight from the tap is delicious! No need for plastic water bottles.

Perfect mt/river cabin - amazing hot tub!

  • 5 of 5

Had an awesome time staying at the Huckleberry cabin in Greenwater! Four of us (and all of our ski gear) stayed here and was perfectly comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked along with the rest of the cabin with all amenities needed. Beds were comfy!

The hot tub was AWESOME! Has a great glass enclosure (especially nice when it's hailing outside). The tub is huge and very well designed. Has fun lights, "waterfall features", super powerful jets, and a great sound system. Most importantly it was very clean and well maintained. :)

The cabin has a great wrap-around deck and a bbq. Great for hanging out in nice weather.

Another huge perk was that the cabin was walking distance to the general store, tavern/restaurant, coffee shop/gear shop, etc. Once you're back from the mountain, you don't have to bother driving. Enjoy a beer at the tavern and walk home!

I would absolutely recommend this property! Great proximity to Crystal mountain as well. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt in communication before arriving (and our deposit was returned within a day or two after departure). :)

Thanks for the great stay, 2 Cabins & a Caboose! :)

ps - AND did I mention, this is a river/creek front property? Beautiful little river to walk along - maybe swim in the summer?! :)

Owner's Response: WOW! Thank you for your wonderful comments! We would love to see you back for another wonderful stay. And, I agree, the tavern/restaurant is so much fun when you just don't feel like driving. I think you will love the caboose too. It should be ready by mid-July!

The Surroundings Were Spectacular!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this property for 5 nights from June 28 through July 2nd . The property was surrounded by gorgeous views. We had the entire property to ourselves during our stay so we didn't need to share the amenities with other guests; therefore, our evenings were very quiet. We only used the hot tub once as it was too hot to stay for more than 5-10 minutes. If we could have turned the temperature down, we may have used it more. We spent most of our evenings on the couch in the living room watching DVD movies as there was an ample supply to choose from. The Huckleberry was a bit smaller than we expected, but the bed was comfy and the shower, refreshing. We recommend the Huckleberry for couples or a couple of friends who love nature.

Awesome vacation at the cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Mark & & I enjoyed ourselves immensely! We stayed in the Huckleberry Cabin and was very nice, fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed and everything one would need to get away from it all. The hot tub was so nice. Loved grilling our meals on the bbq! Very relaxing and will come back again. Would recommend the 2 Cabins & Caboose to friends and family. Auggie and Ann are very accommodating with great customer service.

Amazing!! Highly recommend!!!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the huckleberry cabin, the area and amenities. Very clean, comfortable, quaint, and the hot tub....OMG!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just my 16 year old son and I, any more would have been tight but doable in the small cabin. But there are 3 cabins so it can accommodate a larger group very nicely. Great fire pit, deck, store across street. We spent each night playing games around the fire. very comfy beds. Nice location just 1/2 hour from crystal mtn or sunrise or about an hour from Paradise. Can't say enough about how much we loved it. Thank you Auggie and Ann. You have a gem here, keep up the great work!

Great Spot!!

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of 4 adult men skiing at Crystal for 4 days and this spot was just what we needed. First off the owners were very quick to respond to questions and were very accommodating with our needs for the week. The units were clean, warm with a fully stocked kitchen. Walking distance to the general store and less than a 1/4 mile to a bar with food. Since we were there for 4 days we stocked the fridge and did most of our cooking at the cabin and they had everything you needed including a gas grill. The hot tub was perfect for a day of skiing. I would defiantly stay again if im in the area.
