Nestled in the trees overlooking Martinez Canyon. We are located within 3 miles of City Market and Wal Mart and 6 miles from downtown in a neighborhood sought after by locals. Playset for the little ones we love familes!!

Home features 2 living areas, one up one down, 3 bedrooms up, 2 baths, lower one large bedroom one huge bathroom 2 sinks and sauna. Game room pool and ping pong is downstairs.

Wildlife corridor is at the edge of our property and leads directly into the canyon. You can watch from the deck. Deer, an occasional elk, bears and even a cat now and then. 4/3 Bed/Bath,2 living areas (one up, one down), 3 Bed/2 Bath upstairs, entire floor is laminate,hardwood or tile with rugs, pool table room, 1 bed/bath downstairs with 2 person sauna, 3000+/- SF. We have 11 actual sleeping spaces with REAL mattresses, but there is also a sofa up/downstairs.

We make a point that our home is VERY CLEAN, safe, and comfortable, and ready to use. Please let us know if anything is not to your liking. If you are looking for something, contact us it might be there :).

There should be soap and dryer sheets in the laundry, and under the sink in the kitchen at least enough to get you started as well as liquid soap at all sinks and in the showers.

3 miles to groceries/restaurants/fuel/medical care. NO highway noise. We are in a quiet area with a double lot. We have unobstructed view into canyon and you can hike or snowshoe right in from the yard. Functional kitchen w/ island, breakfast bar,granite countertops, gas range , microwave, deck with grill and patio set. Bedrooms furnished in cabinesque decor. Furnishings and linens new or newer. Good selection of spices and cooking oils, we try to make sure all the basics are there for you. Ample supply of linens, towels and extra blankets. There is a play set for small children and room to breathe. Pool Table/Ping Pong/Sauna/Family Room/ Satellite and WIFI.

Damage protection is a $500 fully refundable deposit which insures there is not excessive cleanup and covers small incidental breakage missing linen dishes deposit is returned within 5 business days of your end of stay.

Cleaning Fee $200 -depending on length of stay and condition of home, we may charge extra if there is an exceptional cleanup. It does take a long time to clean due to the size of the home. The $200 covers 2 people cleaning for 4 hours.

All funds will be returned less credit card processing fess if cancelled in writing within 60 days of start of stay. Late cancellations will be forfeited.

About Ken Bowles

We are a family of 4 and have lived in Pagosa the last 7 years. This is a great place to live and play, we are full timers here. I first came here in 1991 and fell in love with the place, you will too! More snow than anywhere else in Colorado and a great place to spend the summer, winter, and fall, anyone with any kind of outdoor interest loves this place. From fly fishing to hunting to rock climbing, hunting, rafting, or hiking you can't beat Pagosa.

Nice uncluttered views, upgraded kitchen and baths with granite, comfortable, wood stove lower level, gas fireplace upper level, satellite, wifi, playset, jacuzzi master tub, billiards room, sauna. Well stocked pantry.

What makes this cabin unique

We have a lot of space, not crowded here, 3000 +/- square feet, 2 living areas, pool table,ping pong table, sauna, views of the canyon from the deck, wildlife not other homes. Play set for the kids and a large double corner lot. There are games, cards, books for young and old, netflix on 2 TV's upstairs, vcr and dvd downstairs. You can hike, snowshoe or cross country ski right into the canyon from the back yard.

Beautiful home in a winter wonderland

In Pagosa for work with crew of 5 guys. This home was perfect. We all had our own space. Home is immaculate. We enjoyed our stay immensely. If the snow hadn't come in such a massive amount we could've stayed longer, but it impeded our job. Recommend for families for sure!

Fun in the Snow

Great house, would stay again.

Nicely furnished house for big groups/family; we had adults, teenagers, and toddlers in our group and this house was perfect for everyone.

The kitchen summary:

-Gas burners/oven

-well equipped to cook group meals

-coffee maker and coffee grinder

-dishwasher & garbage disposal

-large dining room table, bar, and island

Heating situation:

-heat worked great; downstairs was colder but we ended up not using the wood burning stove; if cold-natured people sleep downstairs, use the stove


-WiFi internet with coverage throughout the house; we've stayed in other Pagosa Springs houses and the speeds were comparable but not as fast as most metro areas; Pagosa Springs should upgrade their internet infrastructure to faster speeds.

-playground in the yard was great for the toddlers and the hills were ok for easy/quick sledding

Winter considerations:

-driveway is steep enough so that two wheel drive vehicles get stuck without chains, it's easy to just park at the top of the driveway and many of the neighbors park in the road and move their vehicles for the plows

-roads to town were sufficiently cleared the entire week we were there in the middle of winter

Customer service:

-the owners were very quick to respond to any and all communications from us

-we had an issue with the washer (something got caught in the drain pump) and the repairman was at the house the next morning to fix it

Beautiful views and plenty of room

We had a family reunion and tubing trip- eating breakfast on the porch was a highlight with the views and the quiet. The house was comfortable and had plenty of space. Kids loved ping pong. It was a fair drive (10 min) to town but the scenery was beautiful. Even saw a neighborhood bear! Recommend highly.

Great pagosa experience!

Family Fun Place

We stayed here with our two daughters and their families and found it to be perfect for our needs! We enjoyed that we could all sit at the table together to eat and had plenty of space both inside and outside for our grandsons to play and spread out! The location was accessible to all the places we wanted to enjoy. Ken was especially helpful and accessible by phone/text answering any questions we had. We had a delightful time and would definitely return here in the future!

We are located in Twincreek Village which far enough off the highway to mitigate any traffic but close to amenities. Lots of locals live here it is one of the nicer subdivisions in Pagosa Lakes and is quiet. You can hike right out the door and we are close to Piedra Rd. which is the access to the Weminuche Wilderness. Lots of fly fishing,hiking, dip in the Piedra or some nice bolted up rock climbing routes on the river. Most people make a point of visiting the hot springs while they are here i would recommend evening when it cools and they have a swimming pool for the kids (3 ft deep). There is generally abundant snow here in the winter as we are about 1000 feet higher than downtown and a little cooler in the summer. We have a small playground suitable for smaller children. There is also a pool table room and sauna in the downstairs bath which is huge.
