Our house is a 1940s newly renovated farmhouse. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious, with hardwood floors and queen beds in each. The bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination. There is one bedroom on the first level...the master bedroom. It is large and open with a flat screen TV, king size bed and a private door to the outside. The bathroom is adjacent to this room, with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is large and perfect for entertaining. The front of the house features a nice front porch with rockers and ceiling fans. To the side and back of the property are great patio areas for outside entertaining. A great feature to our side patio, off the kitchen is the pondless water feature...very relaxing! We also have cable TV and WiFi. There are flat screens in 2 of the bedroom and also in the living room.
I grew up on this land, moved away for college at UNC-W, then moved back here with my husband. We raised our family (2 boys and a girl) here and then we lost him to cancer in 2012. I love life, nature, my family and my pets! I love to read and cook. I enjoy managing the property and want to expand into other areas such as using the house and grounds for weddings and parties and event planning.
Ashley Fisher purchased this farmhouse in 1940
This home place has been in my family for generations. My father grew up here and my husband and I started our family here.
Our property offers a lot of unique spaces for events such as weddings, reunions, and other events. We do have different rates for that depending on the number of guests and what you need.
We absolutely loved this home. My husband, I, children and grandchildren all had a comfortable bed and plenty of room to stretch out. The landscaping is beautiful! We loved the swing and back patio with a stone waterfall. Our favorite feature was the pond. We must have caught (and released) at least 100 small bass fish. It was the first time the grandkids ever caught a fish, now their hooked. Thank you Ashley for sharing this home with others. We plan to rent your home again.
Our family had the best experience here of any house we have ever rented. The house was impeccably clean and each room was beautiful, yet comfortable. The house was situated far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but only minutes away from everything and everyone we wanted to visit. The property was simply gorgeous with a small pond and lots of land to explore. Ashley, the owner, was gracious and accommodating. My only wish was more time to spend there. I will be asking to rent again next year and hoping it will be available.
Our stay at the Georgia Belle Inn was one of the most remarkable events my family has had in some time! Ashley was a great host and the house was outstanding and it fit all our needs! The wonderful pictures on the site didn't fully represent the home , it was better!!! We came for a family reunion near here and shortly realized we should have rented the home for a longer stay! Thank you again Ashley, this destination will differently be in our vacation rotation from henceforth!
Ashley was such a fabulous host and her house & the property couldn't have been more lovely! We had a 60 person wedding on her grounds, and used the house over the weekend for a few of our guests. Ashley was attentive and helpful when we needed things (and we had a few questions!). The house is of course amazing, but the grounds are just perfect. There are about 5 differently little outdoor spaces that we used for various purposes, and the lake was utilized all weekend by my nephews for fishing. Thank you Ashley - we were thrilled to begin our married life together at the Georgia Belle Inn!
My family and I enjoyed a lovely 3 day stay at the Georgia Belle Inn to celebrate my father's birthday. We consisted of four generations, and every single one of us absolutely loved our time there. The setting is beautiful, the house so lovely and well done. I cannot say enough good things! The beds were so comfortable, no one wanted to go home to our own beds! Everything was immaculate, and the pond behind the house was such a treat. Ashley was so easy to communicate with, and her son even brought us a bottle of wine, which was delicious. I absolutely recommend the Georgia Belle Inn!
The owner was very accommodating, the property has an outdoor swing, outdoor BBQ and patio as well as a pond. The porch has rocking chairs for you to enjoy as well as a beautiful kitchen with all the equipment needed to make meals.
The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and there was a washer dryer that came in handy since I was traveling with a toddler.
Great place !
Although we are in the heart of beautiful farm country, we are really just minutes away from great attractions. It is less than an hour away from 4 big ACC schools, UNC-CH, Duke, State and Wake Forest. Minutes away from the new Tanger Outlets in Mebane... Just a short drive for great dining in either Downtown Greensboro or Burlington. There are also several local wineries close by.
