The Villages is a gated community located within the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort famous for the Francis H. I’I Brown, 36 hole golf complex. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2172 square foot, (plus 400 square feet of outdoor lanai) 2 story Villa home offers luxury resort living at an incredible value. Three separate lanais provide many tranquil spaces for outdoor enjoyment. This Villa has been furnished with Bernhardt and Tommy Bahama furnishings with luxurious Eastern Accents bedding. These are not your typical rental appointments!

Interior spaces include flat screen TV's in the living room and master suite and wireless, high speed Internet service. All spaces include solid mahogany doors and trim with bronze hardware. The gourmet kitchen is finished with granite countertops, Wolf, Sub Zero, and Fisher and Paykel appliances. Large bedroom suites make bringing adult guests or sharing this home easy!

The three bathroom suites include travertine marble, cherry cabinets and Kohler fixtures. The interior features 3 zones of central air conditioning for your comfort. The large outdoor lanai provides a complete outdoor kitchen featuring a Lazyman BBQ. The master suite on the second floor offers a King bed with two double beds in the other second floor suite and a queen bed in the first floor suite. The laundry room is complete with full sized Fisher and Paykel washer and dryer.

The Villages private recreation area is located just steps away and features a pool with waterfall and separate heated spa, exercise room and entertainment area with BBQ. After 30 vacations to the Hawaiian Islands including stays at resorts and condos on Maui, Kauai, Oahu, and a dozen or more visits to the Big Island, Louise and Harvey chose the Mauna Lani as the perfect location for a vacation home. Our first visit to the Kona shore was in 1980 when there was only lava fields and two hotels. We fell in love with the beautiful landscape, the beaches, and the range of activities. There are dozens of golf courses, restaurants, shopping, and always somethings to do. As vacationers who make the journey from the East Coast every year, our kids, our parents and family members, and our friends have had memorable vacations at the Mauna Lani Resort. We look forward to sharing the Aloha experience with our guests at our home at the Villages.

Guests enjoy use of a gated beach and club with rental of this home also.

Perfect In Every Way

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental home. The home is well appointed and incredibly comfortable. It was very clean, well stocked and included lots of little touches that made it easy to settle in. It was perfect for our family of five. The amenities throughout the community were first class. The owner and property manager were responsive, accommodating and very easy to deal with. Over the years, we have rented 10-20 homes around the country using VRBO/Homeaway, and this home was hands-down our favorite.

BEST Location on the Big Island

Wow! What a fabulous home these owners have chosen to share with vacation travelers. You'll want for nothing in this large, fully-equipped home. From beach essentials to ketchup to laundry detergent, everything you need is there! Our favorite spots were the private, pristine beach and the comfortably-furnished lanai with it's own kitchen. After driving nearly 1,000 miles all over the island to see the volcano, Hilo, coffee plantations, shorelines and Kona, we decided this is the BEST location on the Big Island. It is close enough to touristy Kona and an easy drive to Waimea, Hawi and Hilo but with optimum weather and the least amount of traffic congestion. Thanks to the plush beds, we slept well every night after returning from our days of hiking, golfing, shopping and touring.

Simply amazing

This was our fifth time staying in the villages at Mauna Lani This unit is by far and away the best we have stayed in. Everything from laundry detergent to ziploc bags...this condo has it. Communication between Manager and owner was superb. I highly recommend renting this unit and we will be back!!! Aloha and Mahalo

We loved this property for our annual vacation.

We loved this property for our annual vacation. We had a group of 7 adults and one toddler and the house had plenty of space. The owner and the local property manager were very responsive, although we had no need to contact them after the booking and arriving in Kona. Everything was in order and the information on the listing was accurate. We loved the outdoor bbq, bathrooms off each bedroom and the kitchen was stocked with extras (condiments, spices, food storage supplies). Beach gear was great, as we attempted to visit every beach on the island (large towels, back-pack chairs, insulated bags, reusable ice packs). The pool was great for the toddler and the hot tub was spectacular. Foodland was an excellent grocery store even though we had stocked up on basics at Costco. It was great having it so close to grab additional particular items almost daily. We used our rental cars a lot, so having a garage was nice to keep them cool and out of the sun. My only suggestion would be to have more places to hang up beach towels to air dry, but maybe I missed seeing a collapsable rack. We would certainly stay in this complex again and at Mr. Cohen's unit. Mauna Lani Resort area is very nice and and the HOA (private) beach, shoreline trails, ponds/petroglyphs parks and sidewalks are a great amenities.

Fantastic Property -Well Stocked, Great Layout, Great Location

We stayed for 10 days at this property with two kids, my wife and my two parents. The layout of this property is fantastic and even better in person than in the pictures. The bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and each with its own bathroom and shower. The kitchen and outdoor area are wonderful as advertised! We cooked meals all but two nights so used the kitchen frequently and what we loved the most besides the layout that really separated this property from other properties we have rented is how well it is stocked. The kitchen had every appliance and item you could need to feel like you were at home! We also really enjoyed how well stocked the garage was for daily activities with snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand toys, noodles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and coolers to use (and ice packs in the freezer). The property is in a great location in that you can walk to the pool and exercise facility in 1 minute and walk to the shopping facilities in 5 minutes. We also found this property great for morning or afternoon walks and runs in that everyday we found a great place to go whether it was the tide pools and fish ponds fronting the Mauni Lani hotel, the fisherman's trail, Petroglyph Park, the nearby lava tubes/shelter caves or going to 49 Black Sand Beach. I would definitely recommend this property to others! Mahalo!

What an incredible condo!

We just returned from spending two weeks in this fantastic condo. There were 6 in our group (4 adults and two teenagers). It was absolutely perfect as it is very spacious and the floor plan is ideal for that number. The condo is very well equipped with everything for the beach and for your stay while in the condo. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen as we preferred to make dinners most nights. The BBQ and outside kitchen on the lanai was a bonus that we enjoyed. Harvey and Louise were very helpful with the booking process and when we arrived, Lissette was available to help us get settled in. Thank you for a beautiful condo to stay in while we enjoy the Big Island!
