About Brooke Roeder Andrus
Emerson Guest Properties was established in 2011, and is owned and operated by Brooke Roeder Andrus, a long time Austin resident. She first became involved in the business by renting her own property as a short-term rental, and quickly found it to be something she both enjoyed and excelled at. It was her desire to provide an experience that would exceed guests' expectations and she developed the skills and know-how needed to do so via the hands-on experience of managing her own rental. It didn't take long for other like-minded property owners to notice her knack and recruit her help. Brooke built Emerson Guest Properties with the goal of directly facilitating positive guest experiences and providing the upmost of care for the homes she represents. She treats every guest with great care and consideration, and treats every home she manages like she would her own. Whether you are a guest looking to have a great experience staying in a short-term rental, or a property owner looking for a manager who focuses on the highest quality of service possible – look no further, Emerson Guest Properties is right for you.

Very impressed with this property. Will rent again
Great location. Easy to get around horrible Austin traffic by using side streets. Quiet lovely surroundings. Great air conditioning.
Nice accommodations in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. Easy to use side streets to help avoid Austin’s horrible traffic.
Everything we needed in lodging and comfort.
This has been a very nice stay for me. The apartment is in a great location and the neighborhood is very quiet. I am a long time resident of Austin, more than 40 years, so safety and location were extremely important to me and this property satisfied both. The size was a perfect fit for 1. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. I cooked 1-2 meals a day so I used it quite a bit. It could get a little warm in there but I opened the door and that gave it more circulation. It is obviously very popular and because of the use, a couple of things might be addressed in the near future. The bed is starting to loose it’s support and the bathroom faucet handles are not secured. They may consider adding some coffee mugs and refreshing the silverware supply. I did not light the fireplace but if it had been cold during my stay would have enjoyed that very much. I did use both the air conditioning and the heating systems and they worked great and were quiet. I used the washer and dryer and those were handy as well. I loved the enclosed outdoor garden/sitting area. I do have 1 dog and it was very pleasant letting him sit out there while I was inside working and when we were both in the apartment relaxing. We also took long walks in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this location. The management company responds quickly to you and are very friendly.
Thoroughly enjoyable stay in Tarrytown
The townhouse was everything we hoped it would be. Cozy digs on a quiet street not far from the river. We enjoyed just walking the streets of Tarrytown, which is a beautiful Austin neighborhood. Also took advantage of the near-by golf course (Lions Municipal). The property is just minutes from downtown, by car, and just about ten minutes away from Zilker Park, which our dog loves. We will look forward to returning to Austin and to this townhouse.
Very roomy and comfortable
Very roomy and comfortable. Great kitchen and living area. Plenty of nice towels. The shower floor was scary slippery and needs some sort of non-skid addition.
