I am an architect living in NYC. I am originally from Southern California. My partner, Angela, a photographer, and I love traveling around the world and staying at unique homes in interesting settings. We love farmer's markets, antiques, and podcasts!
Why Owner chose Rhinebeck
My partner and I have stressful lives in NYC. We have been searching for the perfect upstate weekend escape for 2 years. We had seen about 30+ properties, in various upstate towns. None of them felt right. When we saw this property, we were overcome with a sense of utter tranquility. Having a direct view of the lake, and being able to go out on the lake from our backyard, was so calming. Also, we loved the proximity to all the wonderful restaurants in Rhinebeck, and the ability to take the train to Rhinecliff.

A beautiful, quiet, retreat
This lakefront cottage was all I could have asked for. It was quaint, light, and bright. My friend and I rented this cottage to celebrate her 40th birthday. It was the perfect spot to hang out and have some much needed relaxing girl time. It was clean. It was well equipped with cooking utensils as well as toiletries. And Tim, the owner, was very attentive and responsive to any questions I had. We visited in early April 2018 and it was still quite chilly. But I can imagine how much more fun it would be to visit in the summer months. I highly recommend this cottage.
