Car port and extra parking down the hill for boat or RV. Ideal for small family or 2-4 guests total. Excellent for active vacation or a restful retreat!
Pat's Perch was build by Pat McHenry- Owners' dad. He choose this spot because of its views. He use local materials to build the stone fire place and the cedar ceilings. The house features art which highlight the Okanagan.
This location has been ideal for easy access to Okanagan Lake for swimming or boating, biking and running but also for hiking, golf, sailing and other water recreation. In the winter this spot is short distance away from the APEX ski resort near Penticton and other down hill and Cross Country ski resorts such as Big White and SilverSTAR.
We have a private suite below the rental property which we sometimes use when we visit. We live in St.Albert, Alberta.

A beautiful and private home allowing you to immerse yourself into the Okanagan life style! Great Location, Spectacular Views! The rates are low to make this a competitive choice. The location is special because it is beautifully situated overlooking the best of what the Okanagan region has to offer: Endless recreation opportunities, fruit orchards, vineyards, wineries etc yet peaceful with amazing views of the local mountains, incredible sunsets/sunrises, a quaint country experience but walking distance to town amenities. A very short 5 minute drive to the Okanagan lake front, local golf and only a 15 min drive to Penticton with additional beaches, sailing, golf, hiking and many other recreation opportunities.
Summerland and Penticton offer farmers markets, music festivals, sport facilities, golf courses, boating and sailing etc. During the summer, there are triathlon and other sport events to choose from. Additional updated information on events and amenities available in the suite.
This is a hidden gem !! Wonderful house with everything you need. Spectacular view. Highlight for us were the two fantastic decks with comfy chairs to sit and eat our meals with amazing view. Owners are responsive and very efficient. Would highly recommend this property.
This was our second stay at the Pat’s perch. The place is quiet and spacious and location is great: close to the beaches, downtown area, wineries, parks. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck with beautiful views. Owner is easy to deal with.
The owner mentioned that they were considering a new bed for the master bedroom which would make the stay here perfect.
Enjoyed our stay the location is close to everything the kids enjoyed the parks. The owners were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Miss BC already
Travelled with three girlfriends for a few days of mountain biking in the area. This was a great rental for us. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Wonderful views and lovely decks. Only drawback was the double bed, would have preferred a queen or king, but bedrooms were spacious. Lots of hot water.
Very lovely cottage in the quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect, close to everything in Summerland: KVR train, wineries, downtown area and beaches. The place is spacious with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed having breakfast on the deck with spectacular view and watched the sunset from the living room huge windows. Powell Beach was our favorite. It is great for families with kids and is only 7 minutes drive from the house.
The owners were attentive and answered all our questions promptly. We would love to return next year!
We stayed here for Challenge in 2014. This was fantastic. It was a perfect location for us, as it was far enough away from the madness yet close enough to drive to Pentiction. Beautiful views during the night, plus the balcony was great to have for a BBQ and look out on the mountains. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Near vineyards , orchards, trails and beaches, the property is near the Kettle Valley Rail Road Steam train station: steam train rides with staged train robberies by local cowboys
