|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
This condo is located on the west end of the island at the Kepuhi Beach Resort.
Take a big sigh of relief and enjoy the seclusion and quiet on Island of Molokai. From your lanai, you will enjoy a refreshing ocean breeze and take in the sweet fragrance from the many beautiful plumeria trees that surround the beautifully landscaped grounds.
The Kepuhi Beach Resort includes an Oceanside pool, BBQs, lots of parking, car wash area, and much much more.
From the moment you enter the resort you will be surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and the fragrant aroma of tropical flowers, ocean views, palms swaying gently, lush green mountainsides sweeping down to the beach! Come enjoy Molokai with its sharply-cut valleys and cloud covered mountains. Make sure you visit majestic Halawa Valley, while the charming main town of Kaunakakai includes retail shops, restaurants, banks, post office, library, supermarkets, and almost anything else a traveler or resident could want. Molokai, with its population of approximately 8000 is the last vestige of an older, slower Hawai(no stop lights on the island!). A true Pacific paradise.
Take the ferry from Lahaina in West Maui (really fun!!) or fly into the airport. You can rent cars, we can provide you some contacts if needed.
If you really want to experience the old Hawaii with no crowds, shopping malls or buses, Molokai is the place for you.
There are many activities to partake in, such as: snorkeling at nearby Murphys Beach, scuba diving off of Hawaii's only barrier reef, kayaking through miles of clear blue waters, hiking through the steepest sea cliffs in the world, playing golf, mountain biking, deep sea fishing or just exploring the many unspoiled beaches on Molokai. Did we mention, there are no traffic lights on Molokai, not one. Three cars going in the same direction defines gridlock on Molokai. Come visit 'Old Hawaii' while it lasts!
I forgot to mention, Molokai hot bread, it's an evening experience that has become a family tradition. Open 6 nights a week, I think it's closed on Monday nights. Opens at 8pm, take the alley behind the bakery to a window where you can place your order, you can order a variety delicious items that they will stuff inside your freshly baked bread. We like to drive down to the wharf and enjoy the bread ocean side under the stars!
I would describe Kaunakakai like an old Hawaiian cowboy town; rustic, simple, laid back, friendly and beautiful, an experience you will never forget, it will draw you back time and time again, giving you a deep desire to have what they have, the spirit of Aloha! I suggest picking up a few groceries on your way through town from the airport, enough for a day or so until you plan out your time here, this will save you a trip back to town and the possibility of the stores being closed. You will find all you need for your stay, groceries, restaurants, tourist information, Molokai Fish and Dive for adventures, equipment rentals and purchases, snacks, gas, souvenirs, etc., and some nice local shops.
Our Condo is located right on the oceanfront. It is a corner unit, which gives you great overall view and privacy. Check it out on Google Earth and see we are the only condo complex within 100 feet of the waterfront on the west side of the island.

Molokai Hawaii is truly magically
Cathy purchased this condo in 2004
We love the islands and although we do visit the other ones too, Molokai is truly unique and does not have all the major shopping malls, highrises, or fancy party places that make it very busy and congested. Molokai has no stop lights on the island and no malls. It's truly Hawaii in days of old.
The Mule Ride to Kualapapa is awesome and something we encourage all guests to try and do. We also recommend the hiking and snorkeling. But best of all, just a relaxing day down at the pool with a good book, nice drinks, and your binoculars to see the whales jump (within season)is one of my best things to do.
Cathy, just want to thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful condo. We enjoyed it very much - the view, the nice accommodation, and your very helpful map and tips about Molokai. Thank you so much!
Hope you had a great trip to Maui, and have a very nice Holiday season!
Beautiful, clean condo, well furnished. Mahalo Cathy for an excellent vacation.
This clean well equipped property offers everything one needs for a restful quiet vacation. If you are looking for a lot to do, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a slow paced peaceful time with friendly neighbours, beautiful gardens and a well maintained pool, cabana and barbecue area, with time to read, rest and reflect, you'd have a difficult time beating it. As stated by other reviewers the photos are a true representation of what you will find should you choose to rent here. We hope to return. Thank you Cathy. Donna & Arthur
We spent 10 days in this condo, and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. The waterfront setting is lovely! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained, and the pool area with cabana and barbecues is just great. Everyone is very friendly as well. We found the unit to be clean, tastefully decorated, and very well appointed with everything one needs. We would love to return to this tranquil setting.
The condo was complete with all amenities needed for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. The grounds were well kept, excellent access to the ocean and an amazing view. Cathy and Richard are great hosts and very helpful. I forgot my charger and Cathy came to my rescue with an extra one. I am already planning my next trip and look forward to Cathy's hospitality. I always stay at Wavecrest, this was my 6th trip!
We had a great stay here! The condo was very clean and had everything you might want for a comfortable stay. Cathy was very nice and stopped by on our first day to check in and make sure everything was going well. Despite being on the ground floor you still have an amazing view out to the ocean and the island of Lanai. The pool on the property is also quite nice and a great spot to spend some time relaxing. We were visiting Molokai for the first time with a large group of friends who were largely also able to stay at Wavecrest because there are other condos available for rent. This a huge plus for traveling with a larger group! The island is not very large so we were able to easily get to all of our adventures from this condo! All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Molokai!
The condo was a joy to stay in as it was very clean with pleasant decor and well stocked with every amenity imaginable! The grounds are gorgeous with a breathtaking 360 degree view! I would absolutely recommend staying at this condo!!!!
