About Greg and Angela

The saying applies to us that 'We weren't born in the mountains, but we got here as quick as we could!' Greg's first visit to Estes Park was as a 5-year old where he caught some of his first trout just a mile down the road at Marys Lake and he has been coming back every year mostly to hike/photograph in RMNP and of course with the love of his life Angela the past 22-years often times to just take in a good book and coffee next to the river and shops in downtown. We are very happy to be able to share our vacation home, our experiences and our knowledge of the Estes Park area with you.

Greg and Angela purchased this house in 2013

Why Greg and Angela chose Rocky Mountain National Park

Estes is the perfect location to visit for those who want to get away from it all or for those on the other side of the spectrum who want to enjoy all the fun of a historical Colorado town. Our home is offered with both of you in mind and we hope you enjoy your stay!

What makes this house unique

This is your home away from home. Perfectly located and just minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, it offers great access to the beauty of the area without having to go through town each time. When you want to head to town for a wide variety of entertainment, shopping or restaurants just take a very short drive to the east!!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Very Spacious and Comfortable for all six of us. We loved the mountain decor and really appreciate the well equipped kitchen. It is great fun to sit on the patio and watch the finch and hummingbirds at their feeders.

Spacious and Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Our family of seven enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of this vacation home. The four bedrooms and two family rooms made the space comfortable for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening after touring the many attractions in the Estes Park area. The elk and other wildlife meandering through the front and back yard was especially entertaining. The home is close to a major road so there is continuous traffic noise but it was not so much a bother for us. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The Mountain Aspen Home is one we would love to use again.

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This is our 2nd stay and once again we loved it! After a long day of hiking and/or riding it was great to come home to a clean and spacious house and relax in the hot tub. Cooking dinner was easy in the well equipped kitchen. Most meals were eaten out on the deck, but when it rained it was just as nice to sit at the dining room table and look out the windows. We had visits from Deer and a herd of Elk with babies was a real treat. A truck, a jeep, 4 motorcycles and 2 trailers fit in the paved driveway with room to spare. Greg is personable and wonderful to work with. Definitely the best vacation home in Estes!

This is a great house for a small group or even two families. Two bedrooms and bath downstairs and two bedrooms and bath upstairs. Upstairs and downstairs living areas. This house is equipped with everything you can need. The hot tub is wonderful. There ia a little stream in the backyard so all the animals come to visit. We had elk and deer in the back and front yard almost every day. Greg is an awesome host and will hlep you with anything.

The house was comfortable, beautiful and we were so fortunate to get some great snow to make the experience perfect. We appreciated the kid-friendly nook with games and toys. Our families had a great time together and were able to relax and have fun. We will definitely be coming back!
