Best Place in Plovdiv!
This apartment is fantastic! It's very spacious, quiet, and bright. There are large windows on every room overlooking a quaint neighborhood. Everything about this place is great! It's a short walk to Old Town, easy to get to from the train station, and there is a supermarket just around the corner. It has everything you could need for an awesome stay. The owner and family are incredibly kind and helpful. It has been one of my favorite experiences of Bulgaria. I cannot recommend it enough!
Skylar was a fantastic guest. Friendly, polite and considerate. Communication - effortless. He left the apartment in pristine condition. Would be great to welcome him again sometime. Safe travels!
Excellent. An airy and comfortable guest apartment close to the historic Old Town.
Most highly recommended. Plovdiv is a very interesting ancient town, arguably the oldest in written history, and the apartment is about 10 -15 minutes' walk from the Old Town itself. The apartment has a large working kitchen/lounge area, refrigerator, air conditioning, private balcony, private garage, TV from most of Europe and a Balkan shower arrangement. When we were there, we would walk and visit the town and then go back to the cooled apartment during the heat of the afternoon. We cooked a meal once, but mainly made salads, or ate out.
The proprietor and his family live in the same building or nearby and are available for help, without being in any way intrusive. I can't praise their hospitality highly enough - I thought our stay was excellent - if you have time to chat with them, they are very charming and interesting people. For those with disabilities, the apartment is on the 4th floor and there are no lifts. There are shops and a small supermarket about 4 minutes' walk from the apartment.
Here's the best recommendation - we are seriously considering booking again, because the apartment is very comfortable, convenient, its proprietors are welcoming, and Plovdiv itself deserves further exploration.
