Whether or not you are a golfer, you will simply love this house. Golfers, the practice putting green is a 'pitch' from the back porch. The putting green, driving range, club house and 1st Tee are just steps from the back porch. Please see the attached photos taken from the back porch.
A beautiful, new amenity center is just steps, less than 40 yards, from the Front Porch. The amenity center features a resort size, and style, swimming pool enclosed by a large, lazy sunning deck. Off of the sunning deck is a toddler pool and an approximate 40'x60' covered pavilion with separate changing and restroom facilities. The amenity center also includes a fitness center(which overlooks the pool) and new tennis and basketball courts as well as a children's playground.
The cottage is immaculate. It is a single level house containing two bedrooms and an attached, one-car garage. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master bedroom contains a large attached walk-in closet and master-bath with a garden tub and a separate shower. The living room has a sleeper-sofa. The attached garage is large enough to hold plenty of golf bags plus other essential vacation gear that you can't easily store in a condo such as bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles, strollers, coolers and etc. A surf-caster and a light tackle saltwater fishing rod are provided for use. Beach chairs, a baby stroller, and two adult bicycles and a 20' kids bike are also available for use.
Most years, I donate one week of cottage use to Frito-Lay's Children's Hospital Silent Auction. This year, I have been very active with Colon Cancer Alliance with co-chairing the Macon Georgia Undy5000 5K CCA benefit.

Backyard is the golf course. Swimming pool within 50 yards of the front porch along with the fitness center, playground and tennis courts. The area is embedded within 50 miles of asphalt and subdivision bike/running paths just within Bluffton. Beach is less that 12 miles from the house. I bought the house back in 2006 to maintain close contact to beach (grew up less than 20 miles from the ocean and a year at Massachusetts Maritime Academy on the Ocean) in a great family friendly multi-sport/activity area.
Golf, pool with lap swim lanes, tennis, playground and fitness center is right there. Beach, shopping, movie theatres are all close by. Awesome run/bike paths with continuous asphalt paths verses concrete with construction joints (No bump-bump) on bike rides :-).
The cottage is exactly as shown. It is in great condition and very convenient for golf.
The cottage is fully equipped, there were bikes, fishing rods and tennis rackets available for our use and there is a barbeque on the patio. Having your own private parking space in front of the cottage was much less hassle than trying to find a spot in a condo car park.
The owner was very helpful and did everything possible to make our stay successful.
The cottage is on the Pinecrest golf course, which is managed by Brown Golf. We purchased a monthly package from Brown that gave us unlimited access to this course and five other great courses in the area.
We would definitely return, one month was not really enough of a break from the northern winter.
Just finished a month at this cottage and hated to come home! As a golfer I was only 10 min at most from at least 6 courses including the one the cottage is on. The cottage is well equipped and felt like home! The owner came over and took care of a couple minor items and was very willing to do anything to make my visit a great one.
There are many places near to visit such as Savannah and Hilton Head Island. You an keep yourself as busy as you want or just lay back and enjoy the scenery!

I have been visiting the Hilton Head area for 10+ years, changing rental properties looking for the perfect location every year but that search is over. This is by far the BEST rental in the off-island area of Hilton Head. The putting green is just outside the back door and the cottage is open and roomy. The owner is responsive and friendly. The pool is steps away along with the fitness room. I cannot say enough about this rental!
In addition to Hilton Head Island (8 Miles Way) and it's beaches and golf courses, there are several state and federal wildlife refuges for hiking, birdwatching and nature observation on the mainland/Bluffton area of Hilton Head.
Historical Savannah,GA and Beaufort,SC are within a 30 minute drive. Enchanting Charleston, SC is approximately 90 minutes away. Closer to the cottage, within a 3 minute drive, you will find a brand new Shopping Plaza, Sea Turtle Plaza, which contains a cinema, restaraunts, deli, salons, boutiques and a package store. Two Tanger outlet malls, Publix, Walmart and Target Department stores are within a ten minute drive.

$500 refundable reservation/security deposit one week stays. $750 up to two weeks. $1,000 refundable reservation/security deposit for stays one month or longer. Refundable without significant damage and no cancellation. For cancellations, deposit deferred to next open mutually agreed upon available dates with special consideration for holidays. Long term rental prices exclude utilities.
