Situated in the cozy and super exclusive 'Silver Triangle' neighborhood of Venice Beach, just behind the historic Venice Canals, is this three bedroom two bath home. Completely remodeled to impeccable standards and a brand new 'chefs kitchen' featuring a 6 burner Wolf range with a 36 inch gas oven, a Wolf 30 inch electric wall oven, Wolf microwave, dishwasher and a Sub-Zero refrigerator.
A short walk to Abbot Kinney and the amazing shops and restaurants in one direction and the other direction are the famous Venice Canals built around 1910 by Abbot Kinney. Just past the canals is the popular boardwalk of Venice Beach with all its charm of the small shops, street vendors and performers and of course Muscle Beach.
LAX is 15 minutes away and $35 by taxi.
Marina Del Rey is just on the south side of Washington Blvd or a 5 minute walk.
There are brand new bamboo floors, new plumbing, two new bathrooms, new electrical throughout the house.
The completely private and secluded backyard has a dining table that can accommodate 6 persons and also a seating area with a bar for another 9 people.
The home includes wireless high speed internet access along with Apple TV to stream directly to the brand new 60 inch flat screen television with built-in widgets like Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc. and a 60' flat screen television. It is with complete furniture, housewares, fully equipped kitchen, linens, utilities, premium cable and more.
I love to cook and match the food with wonderful wines.
I love the beach and have lived in my current home for 24 years here in Venice.

It is a centrally located area of Venice and very safe neighborhood. (A few blocks can make all the difference for safety.)
Completely renovated in April 2013. Super modern yet has the 1950's beach bungalow vibe.
My friend and I travelled to LA for a short weekend vacation and stayed here for 3 nights. The house is fabulous, clean and well decorating well within walking distance of many attractions in the area. We walked to lunch/dinner on Abbot Kinney several times and walked to the Venice canals and beach. Kevin provides 2 bikes and we took advantage of those as well to do a bike ride on the beach to the Santa Monica Pier. One of the tires were flat right before our ride so we let Kevin know and he was there within a few minutes with a pump! Upon arrival Kevin greeted us at the house to show us around and make sure that we were comfortable with everything.
The house is really nice and well equipped for cooking or outdoor entertaining. Had we been there longer we would have certainly taken advantage of all the amenities.
Overall I'm very happy with our stay and will definitely be back.

The house was a very nice place to stay. We loved sitting in the backyard especially. Location was good for touring Los Angeles and being a part of Santa Monica and Venice. The drive to LA was only about 30-40 minutes and not complicated. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. We felt safe and enjoyed the atmosphere of the town. Mr. Gallagher was efficient and responded quickly to any inquiries. We were glad to have found this place.
This beautifully renovated 3 BR, 2 BA one-level home was a great location for our family of 6. We were not looking for a large home with multiple living rooms or dens, we like to hang out together, so the compact open living room- kitchen met our needs well. Backyard was one of the top features, with comfortable lounge type seating and a large outdoor dining table plus a bar, which more than doubled the entertainment/ living room space. Backyard is Accessed from master BR and kitchen. The bed in the master BR was the most comfortable, with a foam mattress topper. The other two beds were more firm which is fine for some, just not what I like. Kitchen was the best of any vacation home or condo I've ever rented. Lush landscaping provided privacy and beauty, but made it difficult to walk from kitchen to backyard. Walking canal route to beach was charming and gorgeous. Not sure if short term rentals are discouraged or not allowed in the neighborhood: a sign from the owners said to deny to anyone who asked that we'd rented from VRBO, to say we are guests of the Gallaghers instead.
Proximity to Abbot/Kinney shops and restaurants and an easy walk to the beach through the canals neighborhood were highlights of our visit. There is a French bakery within a 5 minute walk for coffee and fresh pastries plus plentiful shops and restaurants of national acclaim just down Abbot Kinney Blvd. Kevin responded quickly to answer any questions and do everything possible to make our visit most comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors friendly. It is the kind of place my wife and I would like to call home.
The location is great and though the house is ready for some sprucing up, it was very clean with a well appointed kitchen.
The backyard is conducive to family dining with mature landscaping and fenced from neighbors. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet.
Very pleasant stay.
The owner was very friendly and easy to reach although we didn't need to (no problems with the house at all). It had great parking on the street and was near several restaurants. A bit far from the beach to walk if bringing chairs and a cooler, but a nice walk if not. The neighborhood was established and quiet at night. The place was very clean throughout with nice linens. There was only 1 TV in the home so the kids weren't happy, but overall a great experience and I would recommend this place again :)
