Excellent apartment

Great location. Easy to access the city by foot or by public transport. With a car you are close to the motorway network.

Very spacious apartment with everything you could wish for. Twin beds in one of the bedrooms would have been handy but an extra bed can be provided and the bedrooms are nice and big.

Secure parking is a major bonus (it is beyond the exit, should you have any trouble finding the allocated bay).

Plenty of nearby places to eat. We tried India Quay 9/10, Yen 8.5/10 and La Rotunda 7/10. Also ate at Antipasti on Sauchiehall Street (Little Plates menu) 10/10.

Happy to recommend this apartment to family and friends and will certainly use again if it is available.

One week in Glasgow

Overall this appartment met our expectations and needs. We did have a bit of a challenge finding out how to get into the complex in order to pick up the keys from the building supervisor (once you find the car park entrance all is well). The on-line photos are accurate. The kitchen has the bare essentials - good for breakfast and lunch but you will not do any gourmet cooking. The location on the river was perfect for our needs and we could easily walk to the central train station (15 to 20 minutes) and the exhibition venues (5 to 10 minutes). There are a couple eating establishments within a block but you will have to walk 10 or 15 minutes to find many, many eating places.

The owners were very helpful in answering our questions when we were making our initial searching.

It couldn't have been any better

We loved this apartment and enjoyed every moment of our stay in this apartment. Apartment had all the amenities that were promised and helped us a lot in our stay. It was wonderful. What was a surprise to us was the fact that this apartment is on River Clyde and has an excellent view of River Clyde and Clyde Arc. Everything is in walk able distance. Had a wonderful time here and it couldn't have been any better. If we return we are sure to book this apartment again.

A Beautiful Home Away From Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Pippa's place in Glasgow. The apartment is incredibly spacious and bright with spectacular views of the Clyde and some of Glasgow's iconic structures. As a family of four with two older teenagers, the space allowed us all the comfort and privacy to feel at ease. Sitting out on the balcony is wonderful. The kitchen is a great bonus and well appointed. Pippa was very accommodating to our needs and ready to help in any way she could. It was a home away from home and we would not only highly recommend it, but also return ourselves. Thank you!

A very comfortable and relaxing stay!

Arrived on a dark, wet Friday eve'; instructions for car park and getting into the apartment were very clear. The apartment was warm and welcoming, we'd asked for two extra beds for the Saturday evening which were already made up in each of the bedrooms- with still room to spare. The apartment was extremely spacious, with ceiling to floor windows and great views of the river. It was well maintained with all the facilities you would need for a weekend or longer stay - and being on the seventh floor it was so quiet. Looking forward to our next visit!

Good flat made our week in Glasgow

Initially, we were dismayed at the distance of the flat from the city centre but soon adapted to the 20 minute walk. On the plus side, Kelvingrove Park and the Botanical Gardens were no further than the city centre.

We had a couple of small initial problems which were fixed immediately, so a big plus to Pippa for sorting us out so quickly and without any fuss.

Being on the 7th floor meant that we were not disturbed by traffic noise and the flat was really warm, On arrival, the flat was clean (apart form the oven, which needs a good seeing to) and tidy. Loads of books and brochures, CDs and DVDs to pass an evening.The beds were comfortable and two folding beds were provided for our grandchildren, which was much appreciated.

I think it would be worth getting the balcony door fixed, as it gave me some trouble trying to secure in the closed position at times.

Overall, an enjoyable stay.
