This beautiful recently built villa boasts every modern comfort, and is exclusively available for your holiday rental. The property boasts a spectacular position with magnificent uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and mountains - every room enjoys a view of the sea.
Perfectly situated facing towards the south west the pool and sunbathing area enjoy all day sun to maximise your holiday time! Please note that this is the only villa listed on this web-site and located at the Monte Mayor estate where the pool and sunbathing area enjoy all day sun and where you will also have uninterrupted sea views!
Located within a fifteen to twenty minute drive of all local amenities (beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, golf, tennis and kids activities etc), the villa offers the perfect combination of being close to the action and yet far from the madding crowds of package tourists. Prepare to be amazed by the sheer beauty of the location and the privacy and quietness this ensures!
The villa's ground floor features an open plan very large, double height reception room. 40 inch flat screen HD television with SKY+ HD TV system, DVD/CD, ipod/iphone speaker dock. Guest Cloakroom. Dining area seating ten. Open plan Kitchen with breakfast bar includes a double oven, microwave, two fridges, dishwasher. Utility Room with washing machine. Two bedroom wing: double bedroom opening onto garden, with en-suite bathroom + twin/double bedroom also opening onto garden, with en-suite shower bathroom. Covered terrace with barbecue and external dining table seating ten.
The villa's 1st floor features the spectacular main entrance hall and staircase to the ground floor, and mezzanine gallery. Outside there is a balcony terrace with seating. Master double bedroom opening onto this terrace with en-suite bathroom with toilet, bidet, bath and shower. Two bedroom wing: double bedroom with private balcony and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower + twin/double bedroom with private balcony and en suite bathroom with shower.
Finally, at the top of the villa, there is also a roof terrace to capture the last rays of sun and offering even better views of the sea and mountains.
The villa is fully air conditioned for the hot summers, and is very well insulated for staying warm out of season.
The elegant, black tiled pool is the perfect size - 10 x 5 metres and has a uniform depth of 1.6m to maximise useability. With a salt not chlorine based system, the pool is also much more comfortable to swim and lounge in - you'll love the difference! Sun loungers and beach towels are provided.
Apart from splashing about in the pool, there are plenty of activities for the kids along the coast - including water parks, the nearby Selwoo safari park, Fuengirola zoo and the opportunity to take golf, horse riding and tennis lessons.
All the famous cultural and tourist sites of Andalucia can now be reached within an easy one to three hour drive from the villa, following huge investment in Andalucia’s transport infrastructure, making ideal day or overnight trips. Coastal Andalucia boasts not only the best climate in Europe, but also fine beaches, glamorous resorts, luxury shopping and sporting and leisure activities: in short the ideal environment for the all year round holiday maker. Inland the landscape changes from remote snow capped mountain ranges to ecologically important national parks, from the driest plains to the greenest valleys. Its legendary cultural identity includes five Unesco World Heritage sites (the great cities of Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba, the Doñana National Park and the renaissance towns of Úbeda and Baeza), being more than most countries can boast. Not far behind in cultural identity are Cádiz, Jerez, Málaga and Ronda and the renowned “white towns and villages” of which Casares, Medina Sidonia and Vejer de la Frontera are personal favourites.
Wine Tasting: For the dedicated wine taster, the world famous bodegas of Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Maria (together the three historic towns of the Sherry region) are just an hour and a half away, a beautiful drive through the spectacular countryside of the Alcornocales Natural Park. The best known bodega is Gonzalez Byass, home of Tio Pepe, which offers several daily tours as many other wineries do. Málaga province is also famed for its dessert wines, Lopez Hermanos being the premier winery (about an hour and half’s drive).
Golf: The coast of Andalucía is also nicknamed the Costa del Golf by dint of the fact that there are over 70 golf courses between Gibraltar and Málaga, with an increasing number nearby in the adjacent Cádiz province, offering a variety of challenges at all price levels. With the ideal climate for all year round golf, the area is the perfect destination for both golfing couples and groups. In recent years the following courses have hosted major professional tournaments, all within 45 minutes drive from the villa: Aloha, Finca Cortesin, La Quinta, Los Flamingos, San Roque and of course Valderrama, the spiritual home of Europe’s Ryder Cup resurgence.

I am Reg Hoare, the owner of Villa Cielo en la Tierra, which I personally designed and developed. I am British and live and work in London, but spend as much time as I can at the villa (usually out of season to ensure the villa is available for rental). It's definitely a second home for me!

I have been coming to Spain since I was a toddler and fell in love with Monte Mayor when I first visited it in 2001, buying some land a year later. Having put together my design, project team and financing, construction took place between 2008-10. I hope that you too will fall in love with Monte Mayor and Villa Cielo en la Tierra.
What makes this Villa unique
When Pepe the estate agent first showed me the plot, I was blown away - I'd told him I wanted Mediterranean and mountain views not golf course views, and wow did he deliver! Guest after guest, like me, has fallen in love with the beautiful views from the terraces, pool and garden - and with the incredible peace and quiet of the surroundings. Yet if you want some action, all the amenities and services are just 15-25 minutes drive away - the perfection combination of being away from it all but in the middle of it!

Wonderful villa in a stunning location
We had a perfectly relaxing holiday in this sumptuous, well-appointed villa. Apart from the magnificent views to the mountains and the sea, the location is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the coast yet very accessible to Benahavis, Estepona, Puerto Banus & Marbella by car.
Very comfortable bedrooms with luxury en-suites and AC. Huge open plan living space leading to large private outdoor area with superb pool.
Reg was extremely helpful during the planning stages, providing lots of valuable details about the villa and surrounding area.
We would highly recommend this villa.
Outstanding villa. Spacious with views to die for
We had a really great time. We were out with 8 people, six of whom were in their early 20s. We all loved the villa. The fantastic views, the space (it comfortably sleeps ten) , the pool, the high ceilings and big windows. We had worried about the building work taking place nearby but this caused no inconvenience as the project is well advanced.
We had also worried about the remoteness of Monte Mayor. Once we got use to the drive we actually appreciated being away from everything and even began to think about the benefits of buying or building a villa on or near Monte Mayor.
The villa is close to Benehavis, Club Marbella (the nicest golf course I've ever played on) and about 20-25 mins from Puerto Banus. Marbella is a little further.
This villa is really as as good as it looks on the website. Spread over ten people the price is not too bad. Don't hesitate book it now.
This home is stunning. From the moment you walk in the door all you see is a perfect retreat. Beautifully decorated and spacious, all complemented by a pool and view that make you feel like you are in a secluded paradise.
Everything was perfect, starting with a warm welcome and including a detailed description of where to find everything that was provided and the extensive list of places to eat, places to visit, and things to do. We were only able to sample a few of the nearby recommended restaurants, but all were outstanding. Mostly we ate at home preparing food in the wonderful kitchen and eating outside on the deck.
Benahavis is truly Heaven on Earth. Our family group of seven universally recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful retreat away from the crowded beach fronts, but still close enough to enjoy all sea has to offer.

It was a wonderful holiday all the family had a great time. There was 8 adults 2 kids and a baby you never once felt that you were on top of each other. A very spacious luxury villa.

The house is very spacious but also comfortable and well-equipped with an impressive entrance hall. Well shaded balconies and terraces, all with great views.
Listing was very accurate, the property well maintained and the property manager was extremely efficient and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Changeover day is Saturday, check in from 16.00. Check out time is 11.00. Discounts available for smaller parties and bookings of more than one week. Prices are inclusive of all villa facilities, utilities (electricity), cleaning and bed linen / towels and include a welcome pack. Many rentals do not include these items and have hidden charges.
