About Ron Jadin

We love Brown's Lake so much that we just bought another property just down the street, making this cottage available for rent for the first time this summer. We will be nearby if you need us for help or questions.

Ron Jadin purchased this house in 2008

Why Ron Jadin chose Southern Wisconsin

We love the view from our deck and family room! You can't help but relax when you enter the door. One of the best locations on the lake for the sandy lakebed and the elevated views. You can watch the sunset from the dock.

What makes this house unique

Roughly 90 feet of sandy lakebed footage, great for swimming, water volleyball and fishing. You can't beat the views from the full wall of windows facing the lake or from the 3 decks.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for opening up your home to us for our Girls Retreat. We had a fabulous time chatting around the beautiful fireplace, making dinner together, and watching movies in the cozy basement. The distance from home was just right and we'll be back. Thank you for the chocolates and coming by to fix the door and deliver ice. Some of us will be back this summer with our families. We are officially reserving this weekend for 2015! See you then!

The house was great. We stayed for a week. The view over the lake was stunning. The owners were great.

I have used HomeAway for several vacations and never have been disappointed.

Great property with amazing owners!

  • 5 of 5

My family had an amazing time at this house on Browns Lake. Ron & Jo are amazing owners! Quick to respond to any need and helpful to offer any assistance needed! They treat you like family and do their best to make your stay great! We had 10 in our group and the house fit us well. The basement helped with sleeping arrangements. The main floor is great for cooking and hanging out. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and enjoyed dinner outside each evening. The stairs from the house down to the lake are a little daunting but you get used to them quickly. Just try to remember everything you need when you head down. The lake was wonderful. There is a very large dock on the lake that is great for fishing, swimming and parking the boat. We took the boat out daily and tubed. Our trip was Sunday through Thursday so there was very little boat traffic on the lake. Most days it was just a few boats. I would guess the weekends would be busier. We spent most of our time at the lake but the town of Burlington is very close. Enjoyed Adrian's Frozen Custard one night. Ron & Jo recommended a store called Gooseberries Fresh Food Market and I would highly recommend this store! We bought brats, cheese and desserts there and it was all amazing. I would highly recommend this house and lake and I can not sing enough praise of the owners!

Beautiful Property

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. We all loved the lake house, view and pier on the lake! House was impeccably clean, comfortable and well maintained. Ron took us on a beautiful sunset cruise that we all enjoyed very much. He also dropped off extra Adirondack chairs while we were there that were lost by previous guests. He was very accommodating and quick to responding to questions. Thanks for keeping such a nice house!! Only drawback was that pier area is busy with other boaters, must be a popular spot. They got a little close for comfort but were not rude.

Beautiful house and property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great Girls Getaway this weekend. The house and property were beautiful and well-kept, the view is gorgeous! We had everything we needed, and the owners were very prompt at responding to any questions we had prior to our visit. Burlington is only five minutes away if you need anything, and we spent several hours shopping at Pleasant Prairie Outlet which was only a half hour away. It was fun to watch all of the activity out on the ice, Browns Lake is so beautiful in the winter, I can't imagine what it must be like in the summer and fall.

I would probably recommend this property for a group no larger than 8. We had 11 and were aware when we booked that some would have to sleep on the pullouts in the basement, however those that did felt a bit separated from the group. We had more than enough space to socialize and hang out however, most of our time was spent in front of the fireplace or the large sunroom. We would definitely return!

Gorgeous views, cozy & spacious home!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is adorable: cozy, inviting furnishings, and windows everywhere looking out at gorgeous trees and a beautiful lake. This was the perfect place to reunite with friends on a cold, November weekend. The owners were gracious and helpful, even shoveling the driveway when it snowed. We would definitely recommend this cottage. If you want a place to connect, relax, and drink in some peaceful scenery, head here! :)

Memorial weekend is the Chocolate Festival in Burlington. The fourth of July is a special week to be at the cottage - there are fireworks in town on one night. Then on a separate evening there are fireworks over the lake that you can watch from the dock or join the 200 plus boats in the lake for a spectacular view! Milwaukee is near enough to take in one of the many festivals there.
