Just one block from the ocean and the bustling Promenade, this newly refreshed Seaside vacation home is perfect for a family reunion or gathering. Lounge on the expansive deck in the summer months, and spend chilly winter evenings around the gas fireplace for a cozy night of storm-watching and board games!
This laid-back vacation getaway is tucked away on the south end of Seaside, nestled between the lush greens of the Seaside Golf Course and the restaurants, shops, and arcades in the heart of town. You can walk everywhere, but still enjoy your peace and quiet when you need it. Please note that due to its residential neighborhood, it is not suited for a gathering of friends who can be loud at times.
The home has its open living spaces on the upper floor, with plenty of space for your whole group to gather and socialize. If you like to cook, you're in luck: the full kitchen is outfitted with all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you need to prepare meals for a big group, with a dishwasher so you can spend your time having fun instead of scrubbing at the sink! Just off the kitchen is a dining table with six chairs (and 3 folding spares, as needed) so everyone can gather for a hearty home-cooked breakfast before heading out to explore the Oregon Coast.
The living area has comfortable sofas arranged before the gas fireplace, offering a cozy spot to curl up with a good book and a hot toddy for a peaceful evening. Grab a board game from our nicely stocked shelf, or if the weather cooperates, head out to the expansive deck to take in the sunset!
With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, this 1,900-square-foot home can accommodate up to nine guests very comfortably. Upstairs, the master suite with attached full bath has a queen bed. The living room's sofa unfolds into a comfortable sleeper as well, and the half bath is on the upper floor for everyone's convenience!
Downstairs, two spacious bedrooms, one has a full bed and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses, so an entire family can share it comfortably if you're traveling with a large group or small children. The other bedroom has a queen bed and they both share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from each bedroom. The laundry room with washer/dryer makes life easy on longer stays, and the garage provides covered parking for two vehicles, with room for two more in the driveway.
The home is perfect for multi-family vacations. We do offer cable TV with DVD player as well as wireless Internet access.
Golfing, kite-flying, clamming, crabbing, beach combing, surfing, hiking, sea kayaking, arcade games, an aquarium, shopping, and plentiful dining are all within easy reach when you stay at Seaside Serenity! Whether you are planning a relaxing weekend or adventure-packed getaway, you'll love calling this laid-back retreat your home away from home on the Coast.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
I loved this property for its location, steps to beach, beautiful master suite.
The house had some hickups, coffee pot never worked. Slow draining garbage disposal. Carpets stained thruout the house. But i would rent again just for the master suite, location, beautiful deck and views.
This rental house was absolutely great! Clean, great size, plenty of beds/bathrooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer, super close to the beach (one block), within walking distance of the Seaside shopping strip.. would definitely stay there again and will check on availability when we return next year. Thank you very much for an amazing stay!
We were 8 of us including 2 toddlers. Home is the by the beach. We had some challenges with appliances and the beds weren't in the best of condition.
We had a great time staying at this place for our Hood To Coast finish line housing. The first van to arrive (I was in the second one) was able to enjoy the porch views and relax and clean up. While a bit of a hike, it's still walking distance from the finish line, very nice feature as parking is an issue. We were able to park our van in the driveway and there is actually room for 4 vehicles which is great too!
I highly recommend this place for this!
We had a great stay! The place was well furnished with comfortable sofas and beds. The kitchen was a bit shy on equipment (e.g., no cutting board, no mixing bowls) but Vacasa was responsive in remedying the situation. The location of the house is the best quality. Close to the beach with easy access, and far enough away from the busy part of Seaside (restaurants, shops, etc) that we felt like we were in a peaceful, secluded area. The beach has fire rings set up of which we took advantage by making s'mores in the cool evening.
Seaside is a wonderful location; lots of public beach and lush forests! We also spent a couple days visiting nearby Astoria, Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park. We walked along the ocean beach, explored tide pools and took in breathtaking views at Ecola and on Highway 101 south of Cannon Beach. Great place for those who love the outdoors!
Our favorite thing about the property is that it was close to the beach (with easy access) and it was far enough away from the busy part of Seaside (restaurants, shops, etc.) that it felt peaceful and relaxing to stay there.
