Just one block from the ocean and the bustling Promenade, this newly refreshed Seaside vacation home is perfect for a family reunion or gathering. Lounge on the expansive deck in the summer months, and spend chilly winter evenings around the gas fireplace for a cozy night of storm-watching and board games!
This laid-back vacation getaway is tucked away on the south end of Seaside, nestled between the lush greens of the Seaside Golf Course and the restaurants, shops, and arcades in the heart of town. You can walk everywhere, but still enjoy your peace and quiet when you need it. Please note that due to its residential neighborhood, it is not suited for a gathering of friends who can be loud at times.
The home has its open living spaces on the upper floor, with plenty of space for your whole group to gather and socialize. If you like to cook, you're in luck: the full kitchen is outfitted with all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you need to prepare meals for a big group, with a dishwasher so you can spend your time having fun instead of scrubbing at the sink! Just off the kitchen is a dining table with six chairs (and 3 folding spares, as needed) so everyone can gather for a hearty home-cooked breakfast before heading out to explore the Oregon Coast.
The living area has comfortable sofas arranged before the gas fireplace, offering a cozy spot to curl up with a good book and a hot toddy for a peaceful evening. Grab a board game from our nicely stocked shelf, or if the weather cooperates, head out to the expansive deck to take in the sunset!
With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, this 1,900-square-foot home can accommodate up to nine guests very comfortably. Upstairs, the master suite with attached full bath has a queen bed. The living room's sofa unfolds into a comfortable sleeper as well, and the half bath is on the upper floor for everyone's convenience!
Downstairs, two spacious bedrooms, one has a full bed and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses, so an entire family can share it comfortably if you're traveling with a large group or small children. The other bedroom has a queen bed and they both share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from each bedroom. The laundry room with washer/dryer makes life easy on longer stays, and the garage provides covered parking for two vehicles, with room for two more in the driveway.
The home is perfect for multi-family vacations. We do offer cable TV with DVD player as well as wireless Internet access.
Golfing, kite-flying, clamming, crabbing, beach combing, surfing, hiking, sea kayaking, arcade games, an aquarium, shopping, and plentiful dining are all within easy reach when you stay at Seaside Serenity! Whether you are planning a relaxing weekend or adventure-packed getaway, you'll love calling this laid-back retreat your home away from home on the Coast.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
I would not stay at this particular house again although the agents were great I was disappointed that it said Ocean view but could only see the Ocean through the houses and cable lines .Honestly it is a beautiful house but not enough decorations and furniture..it just seemed very empty to me.I was hoping for more for the price.
Great location. The kitchen needed a few things such as a can opener. Once they get the heating figured out on how to heat the downstairs and maintain being comfortable upstairs it will be a fantastic place.
This house was amazing! We loved the space and used every inch of it with 4 kids and 3 adults. The view was splendid and we enjoyed watching the huge waves roll in.
We were very pleased with the location and the condition of the home. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find their own space as needed. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, despite a few basic implements missing. The turkey roaster we found on the bottom shelf was a totally pleasant surprise and made accessing the oven for other items a lot easier.
The very short block to the beach was very handy and even provided incentive to get out and walk even during a major rainstorm. Loved being able to walk to the small south Seaside grocery store and the U Street Pub was an extra bonus for an evening cocktail.
Well worth the money, nice house with big living area and bedrooms.
Hit the U Street Pub, 2 blocks away and great food.
I loved this property for its location, steps to beach, beautiful master suite.
The house had some hickups, coffee pot never worked. Slow draining garbage disposal. Carpets stained thruout the house. But i would rent again just for the master suite, location, beautiful deck and views.
