relaxing week ...
This little gem is perfect for watching the boats and birds and just relaxing ...... who needs a TV. The cottage is very well equipped and comfy. Everything you could want is within easy walking distance, we took the train from home down to Teignmouth, no need for a car. We had a 'prom' every evening and then sat and watched the cormorants and oystercatchers and on our last day, a seal popped his head up yards from the window ..... the holiday was everything we hoped for. Thank you....the welcome was warm and friendly and a lovely welcome pack was also a treat, a very nice touch. Looking forward to coming again.
Have been a few times and and am always impressed with the cottage. Excellent views of the estuary and of the sunsets . Will be returning.

We try to accomadate our quests as best we can but our Cottage and its position and View does it all
Loved it. Fabulous little spot in the most extraordinary position. the view is mesmerising!
Salty Cottage is a clean, easy and well equipped place to stay, but that's not the real reason why. What a spot! Literally on the beach, and yards from pubs and eateries. And as for the view? Through the great big picture window? Quite extraordinary! Loved it.
We are just pleased that we provide a lovely place for our visitors to stay to enjoy Teignmouth and area with all its places to visit Jill and Sandra
Stunning cottage great location
This cottage has everything sorted .
We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and well thought out stay.
The owners were helpfull and welcoming even down to the welcome basket on arrival. The cottage itself is very well maintained with all mod cons but still keeping the charm of the cottage .
Very comfortable bedrooms and the best views of any rental i have ever stayed in.
Pubs ,restaurants and shops are on your doorstep and the beach just outside your front door. A1 stay we will be back
Whilst we can't improve on our position and views which are already the best we try to make our cottage as homely as possible and it is nice to hear our visitors enjoy their stay with us and Teignmouth and the amenities on offer Jill and Sandra
The holiday and historic port of Teignmouth is located at the mouth of the River Teign. The town boasts a long sandy beach with a promenade and a pier with amusements (why not grab an ice cream and watch the sun set in one of the deck chairs available to hire?!). Various facilities and shops are just a 5 minute level walk from the property including heated swimming pool, outdoor multi-sports court, crazy golf, award winning children's play area and many eateries and public houses. For those seeking water based activities there are sea fishing trips and river cruises available on locally owned boats. Sailing and kayaking are also available on a hire basis. A short ferry ride away (foot passengers only) takes you to Shaldon. A lovely waterside village with a range of shops and hillside golf course. We recommend a visit to the Wildlife Trust followed by refreshments in the Ness House Inn - providing an unrivalled view back over Teignmouth. Other Activities: Local rowing club
