Wonderful home with a great location.
Great communication from owner. Efficient and easy to deal with.
Week in Poole
Excellent accommodation in good location.
Perfect location for Poole Quay Blues Festival!
Very clean and comfortable. A perfect little home from home for 2 people.
Nice cosy property but there was a problem.....
This is a small but cosy property just at five minutes away from Poole Quay. The weather was great for May, 20-23 degree Celsius with a lot of sun too. So we have had the opportunity the discover Poole and his surroundings which was great.
But on arrival we found long hairs on the gas stove, the plates in the cupboard, the bathtub and in the cabinets in the bedroom (and more..)
Also the plates and cutlery where greasy and must be cleaned by us before use. We rase this issue by Andrew, but apart from excuses nothing happened.
This is not what you want to find and you expect a solution but even asking Andrew on Monday two times to clean the property during our stay but nothing happened to solve this.......
Is that what you expect during you're holiday? We not. we rate it 2 1/2 stars.
The west country has wonderful clean sandy beaches, beautiful coastline and countryside. Lander is close to Sandbanks, Studland Beach, Swanage, Corfe Castle and Bournemouth. The New Forest is also close by. The Roman City of Bath is a must. An excellent central base to holiday and explore the English heritage.
Poole has a wonderful harbour. There are five islands that are in view from the harbour, one being Brownsea Island owned by the National Trust and it is also home to the red squirrels. There are regular boat trips to Brownsea Island and Wareham River from the quay. Poole Quay is bustling, has a fabulous selection of restaurants, alfresco dining. There are several Museums. An indoor sports centre, a lovely park with a boating lake, an undercover shopping centre and much more... all in walking distances of Lander.
