Castle Terrace

This first floor flat (one flight of stairs) is in a traditional 200 year old building. Princes Street is so close you can see it from the living room and front bedroom. The Castle and Royal Mile is a 10 minute walk away.

The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms (the largest bedroom has a double bed and single bed), living room which overlooks the tree lined churchyard and beyond to Princes Street. This has a feature fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player, sofa bed, dining table. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, wash hand basin and toilet.

Very comfortable and in a great location!

Our family of 6 though enjoyed the accommodations of this property. The location is perfect in Edinburgh. We enjoyed easy access to shops and restaurants and even took a long walk back from the beach!

Fantastic location. You will be within walking distance of the great sites in Edinburgh Scotland. Comfortable apartment. Definitely enough room for our family of five. Large kitchen was great for making meals instead of going out. We stayed for five nights, and wish we had stayed longer.

Great location in Edinburgh

We spent three nights at Francois’ Castle Terrace apartment in Edinburgh in June 2017 and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is excellent, about a 10-15 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The Grassmarket area is even closer and has plenty of good pubs and restaurants.

Besides the location, we enjoyed the large rooms, high ceilings, interesting décor, and historic feel of the apartment. The living room and main bedroom are particularly spacious. The smaller front bedroom has a nice view of the castle but also had a lot of street noise at night.

We loved staying at Francois' place. The apartment is in a great location, with a nice view of Edinburgh castle out the back bedroom window. Great bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Thanks for helping to make out stay memorable!
