This condo was absolutely perfect for a short girl's weekend in Seaside! Awesome location near dining, shops & entertainment and plenty of room to accommodate myself & my friend. Loved that the condo had a second mirror aside from the bathroom space for getting ready . Highly recommend this space :)
This space is perfect for a 30A beach vacation. The sofa-bed is very comfortable, the kitchen area is perfect for a quick bite, the TV gets plenty of channels and it's walking distance to everything Rosemary Beach and Seacrest Beach have to offer.
With only a few days on 30A, this was a great place to stay. The pool was just a short walk away as was the amazing beach - soft clear sand with clear water. There are a ton of restaurants right by the condo and in walking distance. This was our first time staying in this area of FL, and we will be back. The condo was clean, perfect size for the two of us, and just as described and shown in the pictures.
Only negatives: This condo was pretty difficult to find, and after much frustration, and asking people for help we found it. (With a very busy work schedule, I may have missed reading location details provided by the owner - just make sure you are clear about which building Letter and how exactly to get there).
So restful. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wonderful bed. So much to do close by and delicious restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again.
We had the pressure of staying here during labor day weekend. The apartment might be a bit small for three people, but it worked out, and your not going to stay long inside anyway. The inflatable bed was actually more supporting then the couch (who turns into a bed), for those who need a very firm support like I do. The apartment had all the necessities.
The location is superb, you can walk to many nice places and Rosemary beach is a gem, we loved to explore it as well as Alys beach. The fact that you can walk to restaurants and bars is a big plus, and you can find many people doing the same which creates a cosy environment.
The little "town" of Rosemary Beach and Seacrest Beach was very cute and convenient to little shops. It felt much like a little European town. When we first arrived, we had no idea where to park or which building to go in. The room is B202, but, after running up and down the stairs in the sweltering heat, we finally found the room in building E ( you would expect that maybe it should be in bldg B??? But no, it wasn't). I had to text Colleen for almost everything I needed to know, like where her bikes were located and most importantly (for us, anyway), where is the beach access? None of this was explained anywhere in the description of the room or on a list inside the room. A simple list left on the counter details of the most basic things would have been a huge plus. We were only there for 3 days so we could've wasted a lot less time figuring these things out if we knew ahead of time. Apparently there was a shuttle that can take you back and forth to the beach access. We didn't know where to go for this, but I think it's near the small pool. I have no idea the times it runs or anything like that. The beach is a long walk....especially if you're carrying anything with you. I'm a fast walker and it took at least 10 mins. It's one block west of the room and when you see the tall lifeguard chair on the right side of the road, turn left into the Seacrest community. The restaurants were fine, but definitely overpriced. However, the convenience of their location to the room made up for pricey food. The area in front of the room was very cool with live band, stringed lights, little tables to sit at to enjoy the ambiance. Don't plan on staying in the room if you have more than 2 people. The fold out bed was comfortable with nice linens, comforters, and pillows. The towels were nice and thick, and the room provided everything needed for a short stay. Overall, we had a pleasant experience.
The Village of South Walton Beach is nestled in between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach along the scenic 30-A corridor of the beaches of South Walton. Step back in time as you enter the cobblestone streets and lamp lit passageways. And, with its old world charm, southern hospitality and the natural beauty of the area, this is sure to be the place where new memories are made.
