The bed was like cardboard, there was a musty smell in the room and I think it was too expensive.
I like the property and the staff were friendly, but the room was extremely outdated, bed was so hard and uncomfortable and it had a musty old smell. For the price, it was way too expensive for what we got out of it. Room was clean etc, but just not a comfortable bed or couch.
Good location & nice vacation
Aspens is in a good location. The building has nice amenities & staff.
Great location but the building and suite have seen better days.
We really enjoyed the proximity to the Village and the pool but our unit wasn’t worth the money we paid. There was a natural gas leak in the fireplace and we turned off the gas but the front desk didn’t seem interested in this concern. It also looked like the fireplace hadn’t been serviced in a long time which is a safety concern.
The furniture was worn with rips in the upholstery, some electrical outlets weren’t working and the fireplace mantel was starting to get loose from the wall. Also, the internet was subpar and we were not able to load a basic webpage during our entire stay.
Some TLC is required and we didn’t find that the VRBO listing really matched the actual unit.
We spend a lot of time in Whistler and this was one of the poorer places that we’ve stayed in. My first college apartment was in better shap than this unit.
