Weekend Stay during the Philly Flower Show
This is my first time using this site. I will admit that I was a bit nervous, but did some research and found out that they were owned by Expedia, which I am an avid user. Likewise, the day I booked it, there were reports the following day of the winter storm hitting the north east of the U.S. in Philly. The day of the departure for the hotel, I called the owner to touch base because if the weather was so bad, then I wouldn't be able to make it. I got a little nervous when I asked him how the weather was there and his reply was that it's 60 degrees outside and the wind is not too bad. I thought "What planet does he live on?" and then I thought he just doesn't want me to cancel. Anyways, with all that going on, I decided to drive out with my girlfriend and the weather was brutal. Lots of accidents and the wind had destroyed lots of trees. We finally made the 5 hour drive, normally 2 1/2 journey. When we arrived, Said was very nice and polite. He gave us access keys and door keys to the place. Everything was clean. I am giving this a 4 star, because the photos of the bathroom made it seem like it was a bathroom for the individual apartment, but it was actually a shared bathroom for all tenants on the floor. I would categorize this as an upscale hostel, rather than an apartment. The room which we slept had its own key and lock. There was internet, tv and even a roku. The room had a refrigerator and a dinning table. The room is not big enough in my opinion to be considered an apartment, as in, if I was to live in this place by myself, I wouldn't want to share a bathroom like a dorm or hostel. Bottom line: Clean, location was great, and it did everything we wanted or needed.
