One bathroom with tub and shower and washer/dryer. Fully furnished modern kitchen with stainless electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. Living room with 32' flat screen TV with built in DVD player, Dish Network, WiFi and furnished with unique Adirondack style furniture.
A full size screened in porch is perfect for reading, relaxing (or maybe napping) in the afternoon or a peaceful dinner in the evening. The kids will probably want to sleep out there so don't forget the air mattress and sleeping bags.
Take a short walk to Torts Ice Cream Shop or the Community Hall for tennis, basketball or the playground. Enjoy dinner at the Alpine Restaurant and don't miss the experience (and great food) of stepping back forty years into an authentic, friendly Adirondack family owned diner at the Hope Diner just five miles south of town.
We are located about a 1 hour scenic drive to Lake George and The Great Escape Theme Park and the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake so you can take a day trip and still return to the peace and quiet of your cabin in the woods.
We provide an ideal cabin for the family that wants to experience an Adirondack vacation in the woods with the convenience of nearby lake access, hiking, boating or just exploring. An experience that will keep you coming back year after year.

We can't wait to come againl
From the moment we found Ruby Hill on-line we fell in love. And the cabin was just as beautiful on line as it was in person. The cabin has everything you could need. From sheets and towels to wine opener to ice cream scooper. Our whole family cannot wait to come back and we are already discussing a little winter getaway. The weather was colder then we hoped but it was still perfect. Nice and relaxing which is perfect after a crazy busy summer and cheer season. It was nice to relax and have family time. Our 10 year old daughter says she wants to live there. We had a beautiful hike at Auger falls in the snow but it was still beautiful. And I loved my relaxing walks through your quaint little village. The only thing I would recommend is to bring hand towels for the kitchen and bathroom. But there's bath towels wash cloths and paper towels for you.
We loved our breakfast at the Hope diner it was a nice small town diner with birds chickens and turkeys to watch out the window. We also had a lovely dinner at The Alpine. With more food than 1 person can eat. So plan on left overs.
It was the perfect home away from home and the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Thanks again Gerry and Susan we hope to see you again soon.

This was the best time, cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Owner visited and answered any questions we had and offered some suggestions of his own. Would definitely rent this property again.

Will recommend everyone. Will come again.
Very nice & clean wonderful place to stay!!
Very nice & always spotless!!
We absolutely loved our winter stay at Ruby Hill Cabins for a ski weekend. Close to Lapland and Gore Mountain, and lovely to come home to in the evenings. Warm, cozy, and comfortable. My family didn’t want to leave!
Comfortable, well-stocked, clean, and cozy
Had a lovely stay. Close enough to town to grab an espresso and corn muffin, but just moments from gorgeous walks and quiet waters. An easy drive to hikes and breathtaking vistas. A perfect getaway. Thank you.
Located in the heart of the southern Adirondacks. Providing trails to hike, lakes to swim, fish and boat in, mountain ranges and water falls to photograph, back roads to explore, the freshest air that you ever breathed and on a clear night an array of stars that challenge the imagination!
