About Cecile

Originally from Edmonton and Montreal, we have had the opportunity to live across the country and in Europe. No matter where we have lived we have always felt that the Okanagan Valley was the ideal place to be. Having rented vacation homes ourselves we have always appreciated a well cared for home. We want you to truly love our home as much as we do.

Cecile purchased this house in 2012

Why Cecile chose Lake Country

It is in the wine country and has amazing views and quick access to Okanagan Lake. Having close proximity to world-class golf courses and excellent ski resorts makes it an easy choice for an all-seasons destination. You will understand once you are here.

What makes this house unique

This home is ideal for all seasons. In the Summer we are located close to seven wineries, the lake with local beach is right across the from the Driveway. In the winter we are located halfway between Silver Star and Big White, so an ideal location if you wish to visit both ski hills.

Gorgeous Lakeview Property!!

  • 5 of 5

Three friends stayed at this home in early October. We so enjoyed the 3 comfy bedrooms, the 2 1/2 bathrooms, the laundry room and the splendid lakeview living room. The kitchen, however, was stunning. In addition to the whole kitchen being complete, the granite countertops were amazing!

We enjoyed the large private yard with a variety of places to sit, but most of all we enjoyed the 3 loungers on the front porch. We watched the sun move over the hill across the lake with coffee in the morning, and watched the sun set with wine in the evening. Weather didn't matter as the view was breathtaking every day.

We sampled wines from the various wineries, and we had a fabulous meal at the Gray Monk Estate Winery. Altogether a wonderful, stress-free vacation.

Cecile was quick to respond to our questions, and our damage deposit was refunded quickly.

This house is a slice of Heaven!!

Beautiful house and stunning location! Would highly recommend this property!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home that has everything you need! Yard is stunning and we enjoyed many family meals together on the back deck near waterfall. Located in a quiet area, with the lake right down the road (2 minute walk to the water). Enjoyed the wineries nearby, wonderful fresh fruit and ice cream at OK cafe all within walking distance or a 2 minute drive from the home. Also enjoyed the Oyama zip line and kangaroo farm - we highly recommend checking them out!! Thanks again to the home owners - they were wonderful hosts and made sure all our needs were taken care of. We will return again!

We spent two weeks at The Oasis in August and couldn't have asked for a better holiday! The house was extremely clean and comfortable for our family of four and our dog. It was well stocked with everything we would need. The best part was the beautiful yard with a waterfall, deck, firepit, covered veranda and panaramic views of the lake- we spent most of our days and meals out there. We loved that it was acros the street from the beach, where we pretty much had to ourselves everyday. The area is really quiet but close to town for groceries and supplies. We visited the wineries in the area as well (lunch at Grey Monk was great for the view and Ex Nihilo had terrific pizza). It was very helpful to have the binder of info on the house and suggestions for things to do/go. We were 20 mins. from Predator Ridge Golf Course and we rented Sea Doo's at Turtle Bay Marina on Wood Lake, 10 mins. away. Thank you Cecile & Ed, for sharing your beautiful home. We hope to come back again next year!

Great week

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Very well equipped, welcoming bottle of wine :) and lovely deck to sit out and look out at the lake, read a book or play a game of cards. Loved that it wasn't in Kelowna but close enough to go to when we wanted to. Very well maintained home beautifully appointed. The beach wasn't really a beach and it was across the road but the drive-way was very steep, not easy to walk if you have any mobility issues; these were the only things that were a little disappointing. Would definitely recommend and will go back if travels take us in that direction again.

Beautiful - We hope to return!

This was a wonderful property. The gardens are beautiful and private and the house is clean and beds very comfortable.

The kitchen is beautiful and extremely spacious as well as equipped with everything imaginable.

The location is close to everything including wineries and fruit stands. We also were able to get to town easily and quickly.

We certainly hope to return and our teenagers agreed it was a great place to spend the week.

The Oasis is just that - a private garden overlooking the beautiful Okanagan Lake

  • 5 of 5

Our 2 weeks vacation was a joy in this lovely home with a private garden complete with a hot tub, waterfall and amazing views. In the morning various birds arrive for their bath in the waterfall and deer graze on the lawn. Quail and their babies appear frequently and an occasional squirrel scampers across the lawn. The house has a wonderful covered porch with lounge chairs and one can lay or sit out there no matter what the weather. The house has 3 bedrooms one of which is the master suite with a gorgeous ensuite. We loved the kitchen and TV family room and also made use of the formal dining room and front room. Several times we ate meals out on the spacious deck. Just a couple of kilometres away is a large boat launch and we enjoyed fishing or swimming in the lake at the public beach. A short car ride and there is access to grocery store and other amenities. This will be our new home away from home.
