This bright, welcoming house sits atop a magical, secluded knoll in downtown's Old North Boulder neighborhood. The flow of the space is comfortable and inviting and takes advantage of the home's expansive views. The decor is designed to be warm, chic, and inviting and we've taken care to make it family friendly with a high chair, kids dishes and utensils, and a crib.
All 3 bedrooms are appointed with brand new pillow-top mattresses with natural bamboo ticking. There is 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, and the third bedroom has 2 Twin beds.
The kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking meals with pots & pans, small kitchen appliances (blender, waffle maker, coffee maker, toaster, etc), kettle, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, baking dishes, serving dishes, measuring cups and spoons, etc. Dishes, flatware, glasses, mugs, tea pot, salt & pepper mills, creamer & sugar bowl, and placemats are also furnished.
The living/dining room is super comfortable, perfect for hanging out and overlooks the foothills, as does the kitchen. It has a new Samsung LED HDTV with Premium HD Cable including HBO and Apple TV. Of course, there is also secure high-speed internet.
The property is ideally located between the exceptional restaurants & boutiques on Pearl Street and the Ideal Market Shopping Center where there's a neighborhood Whole Foods, Pharmacy w/Post Office, Bakery, Coffee Shop, Florist, Dry Cleaner, Barber, and several more great restaurants. The downtown Pearl Street pedestrian mall is exactly 1 mile away and takes about 10 mins to walk to, Ideal Market Shopping Center is just 4 blocks up the street, both are lovely walks.
CU and Naropa are both easily accessible by foot, bike, bus and car, and the main bus station that has routes to DIA and Eldora Mountain Ski Resort are also a short, scenic walk of about 1 mile.
This house is the entire lower level of a duplex. It is roomy at 1200 sq ft. and private because of its unique topographical location. From the house, you can gaze out across the tree tops of the city to the mountains.
There is off-street parking for 2 cars in the driveway where there is a carport, a nice feature when it snows in the Winter. There is also plenty of parking on this quiet street.
Secure bike and ski storage is also available.
Oliver is from New York City but grew up in Boulder while Whitney is from LA. We met at CU where we both graduated from the Film School. We enjoy travel, real estate, interior design, photography, cooking, gardening, hiking, biking, swimming, delicious restaurants, family, friends, and film!

We used to live at this house and it is an awesome place to live! We were inspired to offer it as a vacation rental when we moved to another home close by, but lamented how we would miss living here. Its such an easy, enjoyable, inspiring place to live with its simple, modern layout, manageable size, convenient location, and spectacular views. Even though we no longer live here, it's fun providing this accommodation to people visiting Boulder and it makes us happy to stay connected to this home.
One of the best things about this house is how it is quiet and peaceful yet right in the middle of the best that Boulder has to offer. It's so easy to walk to lunch, dinner, the coffee shop, grocery store, or farmers market - and the views never get old.

This is an excellent 3 bedroom on a quiet street. Amazing access to dining, relaxation and skiing. We would definitely rent again.
We didn't realize the space was on more of a basement level, but we had plenty of room for 4 people, had a very easy time checking in and out, and were just a 10-15 minute walk or very short bike ride to Pearl Street.
We used the grill out back and comfortably cooked dinner in the kitchen with all of the utensils and tools we needed.
A group of friends rented this unit along with the adjoining unit. We were in Boulder primarily to hike and explore Boulders other attractions, and this arrangement worked perfectly for us! Although we didn't cook while there, the kitchen was nicely appointed including coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the family room area and playing games on the kitchen table. Also, a very reasonable walk (~15 min) to the downtown Pearl street area, no real need to drive to get there. If in the area again, we would definitely look into this again!
Oliver and his wife were wonderful to work with..the location was immaculate, full of light and wonderfully located. I highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting to experience Boulder at it's best. Thank you !
The only thing we had an issue with as far as this rental is concerned was a problem with insects. We arrived Friday evening and when we awoke Saturday morning, my wife and I killed 7 spiders in the living room. Also, we had a fair number of ants. An email to the owner resulted in some ant poison which quickly got rid of the ants but at last count, we killed 30+ spiders during our visit and never had to look far to find another one, whether on the walls, ceiling, floors, carpet or in the cupboards. Spiders don't bother my wife or me, but our daughter is deathly afraid of them and she didn't sleep well after the first night. Other than the insect issues, which likely were due to the Spring weather, we loved the place. It was comfortable for us and was a nice change from a hotel room and was located conveniently to everything we wanted to do while in Boulder.
We loved our stay in Boulder. This place had everything we needed and more. Bright and happy feeling throughout the apartment. We loved waking up and making breakfast in the bright sunny kitchen with a mountain view outside the patio door. Quiet neighborhood, convenient covered parking, and easy access to everything we wanted to do in Boulder! I reccommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Boulder, and I will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Whitney!!
